  1. Tuchel suits the Chelsea squad which is important part of the jigsaw which a Conte or Zidane don't fit the squad or the club. I believe Liverpool and Chelsea had better squad last season despite their league positions. Maybe look at the mess Mourinho left United in. Neville will know a lot more than we do about that. All depends who you would bring in and the best managers who would fit United are employed and unlikely to leave mid season
  2. Woah. Its appears that they will be more financial cuts there this season and next. But I expect alot of championship club will be similar tbh. It doesn't look a very attractive job for the next manager tbh. no money to spend and more cutbacks. Rely on academy players and free/loans signings. Can't see Wilder being interested in that job. I think they will go for someone like Michael Flynn or Bellamy with Bowen tbh.
  3. was it barely in mind Obefami moved to Swansea for 2 million pounds
  4. Cos I think they should give him to the end of the season and review the situation. They are 9 games in and barely in mind that Rolando and Varane have only been a couple of months. Despite signing these 3 players I don't feel they can match Man City or Chelsea in terms of quality of players. I wouldn't bring in Conte for example for the reasons I have previously highlighted. IU have given you 2 names of managers I would look to replace Ole with in the summer 2022 if needed I think Gary Neville is spot on exactly and what he says about Mourinho and Van Gaal tenure at the club took the club backwards massively and wasted so much money.
  5. Yes he has. But after the Mourinho being there, United was at rock bottom speaking to United fans I know. The fans in the ground weren't chanting for Ole to go at all during the game and they backed their team till the end. After signing Rolando, the United expectation was to win the league but they don't have the players to match Man City or Chelsea or Liverpool. Zidane had the some of the best players in the world and money after money to spend at Real Madrid. Can he done it with these players. I would say Guardiola picked the right club to go in Bayern after Barcelona. Conte is an excellent manager but I don't his management style or tactics suited Manchester players or the fans. They had this with 2 very high profile managers in Van Gaal and Mourinho. Look how that worked out. Spend millions and achieved little success. Conte left Juventus and Inter Milan over disagreements over transfers policy and not spending money. If you wanted to replace Ole then I would say you got to the end of the season to prove yourself and get top and win a trophy. The 2 names I would look in the summer is PSG's manager Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax's manager Erik Ten Hag if you want to replace Ole.
  6. Zidane only managed Real Madrid. Conte management style and tactics don't suit the players there. They had 2 high profile managers and neither ended well apart from spending stupid amount of money on awful players
  7. Well it appears that Ole will be staying if what Gary Neville was saying on commentary is correct. Personally I would stick with him and allow him to build this team. Sancho should be in this team.. The top 3 will be Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool in that order. Man United and Leicester fighting for 4th. Spurs and Everton aren't top quality yet
  8. This is part of Dolan's game I really enjoyed watching. He did 3 or 4 times yesterday
  9. United back 4 is all over the place. The players don't have a clue how to defend. United booed off the pitch and fans are giving it to the players and managers as the walked down the tunnel at half time. Big 45 minutes for United and Ole
  10. Well Done to Curtis Jones for not play acting and rolling around on the floor like alot of players would have done when Rolando kick the ball into his stomach/lower regions.
  11. Mark Hughes's days here as manager were fantastic and I will never forget them. He was top manager for Rovers
  12. and? I rather play every week against quality players who will test me every week then a league where I not.
  13. The PL is where the quality players are playing and you get the chance to play at some of the best stadiums in the world.
  14. We will have to agree to disagree on this. I want to play PL more than SPL despite the size of the crowd. I guess Gerrard being there as manager is a big pull for players for Rangers
  15. keep it simple. 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 with playing pressing game and play on the front foot. You could if you want but rather have Mowbray then McCarthy or Hughton at Rovers. Already explained the type of replacement I want to replace Mowbray with
  16. Mowbray explained why he played 3 at the back in recent games. But 4-3-3 is our best formation and allow us to play our best 11 players in their correct positions. Look at we outplayed McCarthy's team that day in that formation. We were outstanding. McCarthy's management days are probably gone now. Did years ago tbh. Football has move on from the McCarthy and Hughton days of their peak. Look at Cooper at Forest and Swansea days or Ainsworth at Wycombe. 2 plans/formations. Good tactically and motivator
  17. How can you blame the owners for not funding new contracts when you can say with any guarantees what the players is demanding wages/salary wise and the agents demands? The financial backing he has had over the 3 seasons in terms of wages, transfer fees, loan fees. He should have got us top 6 at least once in those 3 seasons. Agree?
  18. He seen Plan A yesterday in 4-3-3. McCarthy isn't any improvement on Mowbray. He is yesterday man. Didn't we hammered his Cardiff team 5-1 recently? McCarthy had no idea how to stop us.
  19. Bruce will want a break and unlikely to return to football management anytime soon after his Newcastle experience Why McCarthy? Just sacked by Cardiff after 8 defeats and had no answers to stop the rot. No Plan B. If we are replacing Mowbray surely we need a manager who is on the up with fresh ideas, tactical aware, Motivator, etc
  20. We all have our opinions on Mowbray. Yesterday he picked a formation that's suits the 11 he picked. Where against QPR he tried to be too clever tactical instead of keeping it simple. Mowbray need to keep it simple and not look to over complicated the tactics or team selection. But we know he won't do this. We can make playoffs this season and add a couple of quality signings in January.. Didn't know that.
  21. Not sure they will yet. PNE aren't going to top 6. Plus Ridsdale won't do owt yet.
  22. Rangers can't guarantee European football either. Plus playing in PL football every week would test him week in and week out. plus playing in away grounds like Anfield and Old Traffard season in and out What happens if Gerrard was to leave in the summer and they made awful appointment like before.
  23. Mowbray does decide who stays but Waggott does the contract talks
