Premier League season 21/22
chaddyrovers replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
it only become a problem recently when certain managers have started moaning and complaining about the festive schedule. Why has it become such a problem now given that's these teams have 25 man squad and these squad built have cost millions of pounds to assemble. Are you really telling these players can play 2 games with 3/4 days? Liverpool were awful yesterday and Leicester was superb despite playing 2 days before had. Tuchel has complain about the schedule despite the 2 days gap between playing on 26th and next game against Brentford tonight. So why doesn't he moan and complain about the schedule when its a Champions League on the Wednesday after playing a Premier League on Sunday like when they played Leicester on 20th November then played Juventus on 23rd November? or when they Newcastle on 30th October then Malmo on 2nd November? or When they Malmo on 20th October then Norwich on 23rd October? it is cos they won all these games convincedly? Now his Chelsea team are struggling with form and performances he is panic mood and trying to blame our footballing schedule? Also the clubs CEO/owners don't moan when the TV revenue is coming in. suggest you look at the point about when Champions league are played 3 days after Premier League game? also if our footballing schedule is too far much for coaching ability and he can't cope then quit and go to a country where there is less games and winter break. these coaches are all very quick to take the money when offered these clubs and they are fully aware of the footballing schedule. -

After thinking it for a while its time the ECB starting focus on the 4 day championship game. But I would start on replacing Ashley Giles as director of Cricket at the ECB with Sliverwood aswell being removed from the England head coach role. I would bring back the head of selector role with and look to people someone who knows the county game like Angus Fraser in that role. Would like to see Alec Stewart has ECB Director of Cricket and running the England cricket team. Then I would be in Paul Farbrace as head coach. I would keep Thorpe, Trescothick and Collingwood as assistant coach but I would bring in new bowling coach like Dominic Cork or Darren Gough. on the Captain issue, Does Ben Stokes want to take over for a couple of years but I don't see a natural replacement for Root due to most of team aren't guarantee of the place. Do anything have any suggestions? Ive seen James Vince mention b couple of people but he not even in the main squad at the minute.

interesting comments from Mowbray that Park has been looking all over Europe for Targets for January and the summer. I do whether if we go back for Maja on loan to permanent deal if he performs and stays fit. For the midfield role, I don't know we go for. If we need a right wing back as some have suggested on here what about a loan deal for Neco Williams from Liverpool who supposedly wants out of Liverpool. Maybe a loan to permanent deal in the summer if we go up and if Nyambe doesn't sign new contract -

The football schedule has always been like this over the Christmas and New Year. Where you played to 3 to 4 games within 10/12 days. The clubs don't reject the cash tho made from the TV deals when they are done tho? I have zero sympathy for these clubs who managers are complaining given that they how our footballing season structure is and given the size of the squad and money they have spend on them. They should be more than able to cope with a few games in a 10 days period. -

well done Leicester who played very good. Was missing 5 defenders tonight against main 3 strikers. Thought Dewsbury-Hall was excellent tonight. -

But played most of this season and maybe he is over the injuries. Ayala was signed despite being a risk. He can always do his own research and since I have mention that I wanted us to sign him 3 years ago. I posted a video for people to look at just like another poster did for me when I asked about Scott Twine. -

Who knows but I think it far too soon to write Hedges off. Thats we were have agree to disagree but we need financially sensible and not a risk on wages. Campbell would cost over 20 million pounds and I wouldnt be paying that despite me rating him highly. I would looking at signing Maja in January on a loan to view to permanent deal next season if we got promote. I think we would need to strengthen in midfield and right wing back along as striker and possible centre back depending a number of other factors. So about 5 or 6 signings -
