  1. Cos people want to get back to watching and supporting their club live within a stadium setting and after the past 18 months of not being allow and pandemic lockdowns do you people for wanting to get back normality
  2. surprise its not more πŸ˜‚
  3. Highlights are on Sunday Morning and each Championship game from weekend has 15 mins highlights on Channel 403. I don't know if these are accessible if you aren't Sky Sports subscriber tho on the Sky Sports website
  4. We need a striker in but a Rhodes type isn't what we need. We need a striker with pace and can finish. Rovers should have idenfity who this player/shortlist is and should have had one by now. well Rovers and Mowbray wanted Obafemi and spent 2 weeks chasing him and after agreeing a fee supposedly we never have a chat with him. We wasted 2 weeks there chasing a player we never were going to get. Rovers should have a replacement line up if not ready to sign here when the Armstrong deal was done and confirm. Now we 2 and half weeks on we still have no permanent striker in to replace.
  5. I don't think we are Miller11 as such. Just look at how many players we have in our squad that have come through our academy/under 23's structure. Nyambe, Lenihan, Wharton, Carter, Travis, Buckley, Rankin-Costello. Now, I am not a huge fan of signing alot of loan players and would prefer just a couple of them but if they help us this season and stay up and finish mid table then its just job done. I would prefer a couple permanent signings before the deadline on Tuesday 11pm but its look like just one with 2 more loan signings but Maybe if Mowbray had managed his signings much better and signed better over the last 2 years we might not be in this mess. Also do you agree that Vale and McBride would benefit us more long term by having a full season at league 1 or 2 playing regular first team football instead of the under 23's Brereton has scored 3 goals and Gallagher 2 goals in our first 5 games and we got 8 points on the board and are mid table. I think we need a striker who has pace as the permanent striker signing. Don't need a Rhodes type striker
  6. Time the EFL banned the towel used by WBA for long throwings. I think Jokanovic will walk away from Sheffield United shortly after his outburst yesterday post match. Wonder if he will get his signings he wants. less than 3 days of the transfer windows and many teams are chasing 2, 3 or 4 signings. Going to be busy time. Reading doing so badly is to be expect when you look at lack of signings there so far and how small their squad is
  7. This is correct and you can see this clearly on the Sky Sports 15 mins highlights of the game
  8. Yes. Don't know who the player is but hopefully its the permenant striker we need going forward to challenge Gallagher for that 9 role Welcome to the club Van Hecke I can see him playing more at right back especially if Nyambe isn't fit going forward. Yes he is tall defender so should help us defensively and attacking wise from set pieces. Carter is here for the long term and he will be solid defender for us. And I want him here for this season and playing his part
  9. Nicko says we have an offer for a striker. Offer is abit low than the selling club wants
  10. Hasn't he admitted that he doesn't have the players for this possession based football recently to Sharpe or Crooke? I'm sure I've seen tweeted from them saying this.
  11. Typical of Warnock throwing his toys of his pram again over Morsy sending off. Think Carter's sending off is harsh. Not intention trying to hurt the player but to play the ball. Gallagher's goal is a good strike by him. Play him up front
  12. Pkie wanted by league 1 or 2 club on loan https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1093567553?-11198:839
  13. Mowbray has dropped his possession based style now. We definitely don't have the players for it. We need to strong at back and play on the counter attack for me. Why do you think Venus picks the subs? Cos we change the style? From the games I attend it's Mowbray decide who we bring on but talks about it Venus first. Like most football managers do.
  14. McBride wanted on loan by Oxford and Doncaster on loan https://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/1093563616?-11198:839
  15. https://twitter.com/reganwhittakerr/status/1431661439576592387?s=20
  16. Sam Gallagher on Instagram: "Another point on the road. Superb support again from the away fans πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ”΅βšͺ️ Enjoyed that one πŸš€"
  17. Don't need to fall for any clap trap but just look at the transfer market and the next 3 days will be crazy, chaos and very busy. I hope we get a permanent striker in aswell a couple of other signings Most championship clubs have loan signings Not at all but he is the manager of my club I support. We need signings whoever the manager is. I have said many times now I would like a new manager. How many more times do people need to say it but until Balaji decide to sack him then he is the manager of my club I support. I want Rovers to win games and pick up points this season. I guess you don't and would rather see us lose and go down which will not serve to improve things will it?
  18. not really. We always have 3 or 4 loan signings in our squad in past few seasons
  19. One must be a permanent striker. Who? no idea. Is it worth going for player age 25 to 28 years old or striker around 21 to 24 years old we develop and improve, what else do we need? another centre back? right back if Nyambe's injury problems continue? back up left back? another wide option? do we really need a centre midfielder? not for me because the transfer market isn't straight forward. Your signings depends on other teams selling their players
  20. Mowbray hopeful of 3 more signings https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/transfer-news/blackburn-rovers-transfers-mowbray-middlesbrough-21428385
  21. Seems like all isn't well at Sheffield United. Here are Jokanovic's post match thoughts
  22. I just leave him to it.. Mods asked me to put him on ignore and I have kept my end of the deal. I was always try to engage the transfer conservation on here. Mention months ago that I would look to Cauley Woodrow from Barnsley as my first choice to replace Armstrong but that's looks unlikely for several different reasons.
  23. Agreed. I think he past on the experience to younger strikers. Maybe he might become one. Don't think he's a big fan of some of Mowbray's coaching methods at times. But they did get on and he got Graham playing at his best for our club. Those 2 seasons where he and Dack partnership was so good Agree. He seems to have a real bond with our club and is now a Rovers fan
