I would say the promotions are well deserved. Sheron did excellent work with under 18's and the Youth FA Cup run in 19/20 was great to watch. Beating PNE 4-2 and beating Arsenal 4-1 was joy and delighted to be there watching. We are playing the best academics in the country and having successes. Kidd was part of those successes so it's promotion to 18's lead coach is the right one. Bringing through more players from academy is likely to be key part of Rovers future planning and transfer policy and it's vital we have the right coaches in place.

99 runs lead is a good lead in my opinion. Pope and Woakes played excellent and its good to see we didn't rely on Root this time. Is Buttler's test cricket career over maybe?

and what happened if its was the contract negotiations were the problem was? We need to know were the problem was in secure the striker signing on permanent basis
-
is this reply to me? Mowbray did say we have 5 or 6 different options but Mowbray doesn't do the transfer or player contract negotiations but its Waggott and Venus. Did a player not sign cos of talks with Mowbray or did Club call them off?

Summer transfer window 2021.

possibly so. surely the only free agent position we should be looking at is a striker, Not much out there. Would we not be better using McBride or Burns or Vale as the 3rd/4th given that we haven't loan them out. Then in January look to secure a permanent striker signing within the first couple days of the window -
All 3 local reporters(Crooke, Sharpe and Bayes) have reached out to the club and Mowbray. Its Waggott that need to answer the question why a striker wasn't bought in since He and Venus are in charge of players transfer negotiations not Mowbray at the club. I would also like to know why a striker from France was flied in and was at Brockhall but the deal wasn't done. Or the deal for Jamal Lowe wasn't done or why we kept chasing Obafemi when its look unlikely he would sign here for weeks. Mowbray isn't to blame for the lack of striker signing here on the last 3 days of the transfer window. Mowbray will be diplomatic with his answers in the pre game press conference whilst he will be clearly unhappy at the lack of striker signing and could feel like he has been hang out to dry by this lack of striker signing. and you get soundbites from the club and small clips of interviews from managers or signings. But I don't think Waggott has ever given an interview to the Rovers TV or Ifollow.

Delighted for Mike Sheron. Done an excellent job with under 18's and hopefully he will continue to do this with under 23's now. Right choice by the club. I enjoyed his Rovers chat interview last season. Was very good and insightful.

Darrenrover, firstly thankyou for the reply and I can fully understand why you won't say and I am more than willing to be patience with you and how the future, If you have reasons to be optimistic about the future then hopefully we will see them and I will trust you on this issue. and of course I will keep the faith. Yes we do need to stay up and get as many as fans in the ground as possible. -
But thats was a squad that played in the PL last season. Yes we are competing with them in the championship but they are class above at this stage. Hopefully in the next few years this can rectify Why would we during the international football week. Bayes, Sharpe and Crooke will be next at Ewood Park will be 9th September I believe. We might have got Lowe maybe if we offered the same fee as Bournemouth. is there any other names you heard we failed with on the last few days of the window? Do you blame Waggott, Venus and Pasha?

Summer transfer window 2021.

any suggestions Dom? -
But the vast majority of that squad was in the PL last season and are very physical side. I would say them and Fulham will be top 2 unless they have very poor run of form. I didn't see the Peterborough vs West Brom game at all so unable to comment on that game specifically Are we talking staff in the club offices, club shop, etc? cos the playing squad morale looks strong, toughness and we wont be beaten attitude. Its appears that the club look and spoke to different options about replacing him but they weren't interested enough from what different posters have posted recently. It will be interested to see what they did regarding Mowbray after this season and if we went on a bad run would they look to replace him and with who You are correct there roversfan99 that the manager normally would do some in house Rovers interview. But Bayes, Sharpe and Crooke won't interview him until the Thursday before the Luton game. I'm sure they have asked the club for an interview with either Waggott or Mowbray over the lack of permanent striker signing this week but whether they get it debateable. Mowbray needs to get on the training ground and start working on the tactics for Luton game and keep coaching our young squad.

Rich Sharpe's article on Rovers transfers problems Blackburn Rovers' transfer policy could soon catch up with them | Lancashire Telegraph -
Why did I say I had direct line to Balaji? You would have seen a number of posters like @philiand @J*B say that Balaji owns the club and that Pasha and Babu are in his right hand people. But any manager change is decide by Balaji

Fair enough and understand why you haven't leak them -
But Balaji has decided to keep him here for the start of the season. That's could change if results start going badly. I don't know. Some people on here. said they look at replacements in the summer. So if that true they clearly thought of a change of manager.. Now if we were to change managers I know the 3 managers I would hope the club would target to replace when a change is done by the club.

What are these please? -
Yes he should. Well he has too if he wants remain in a job West Brom are a PL squad. We aren't. I'm not comparing us to them and imo we shouldn't be compare to them Yes I think we are much better defensively and organised. Ayala on form and playing well. Lenihan good. We have took 5 away points from 3 away against teams I would expect us to challenging for these mid table spots. What flip flopping? I've want a change of manager and since Barnsley away game last February. How can I be any clearer? But I think we have the squad for a mid table finish. But not a top 6 finish.
-
We are playing very different from last season firstly. We are playing more solid defensively and playing on the counter. The team strong team spirit is there to see and toughness. Gallagher will now be the number 9 striker and we have bought skills or pace 2 attacking players behind that. Now Mowbray has to get the best of the team in terms attacking wise and being solid defensively also Also bear in mind that we have took 5 points from 3 away teams who against teams I suspect we will be challenging for mid table spots.
