  1. The Home Shirt looks very good and is something I will look is the sizing of the shirt. Not very keen on slim fit shirts at all
  2. John Eustace emerges as first Swansea City manager contender - Wales Online
  3. Yes. Me and Miller 11 were discussing it on the Championship thread today Cooper is leaving for a number of reasons which was outlined in an article in the Athletic online paper. Have you seen it? Just in case you haven't I will outlined it for you. Cooper's working relationship with the CEO isn't a good one and not like the one he had with Trevor Birch before he left, Fed up with having to sell key players and this summer Cooper was being forced to sell Grimes and Roberts this summer, failing to backed him last January to sign Woodrow from Barnsley, more financial cutbacks this summer. So Cooper has had enough now. Mowbray has been financial back for the last 3 seasons and without having to sell any key players and given over 15 million pounds for transfers plus wage backing to sign free transfers and loan players
  4. nope. Wouldn't expect much before the start of the season. Maybe 1 or 2 before the Swansea game. I think Armstrong will start the season here until his interested clubs get close to our price we want without player swap. by end of the transfer window think we have 5 or 6 players which I think 2 players will be PL loans and 3 or 4 players permanently signed
  5. Cooper is having a rest after his departure from Swansea according to the athletic online paper(source)
  6. I have already posted that I can't wait to watch my club play live again inside a stadium. How many more times do I need to say it? Plus the players I've looking forward to seeing in a blue and white shirt plus any signings if and when we sign them. It's yourself who is so desperate to see new signings whilst most of the players who signed for other club you admitted you wouldn't want here.
  7. You keep repeating it day out day in without looking that the EFL had the clubs accounts from March and the delay from the accounts going online at companies was due to back log. You are using every story which you negative to beat the club you say you support is there any point in any one posting anything optimistic about the new season? cos it was hounded on so there is no point.
  8. Look like Steve Cooper is leaving by end of the week Leaving cos he has falling out the board over this summer transfer policy, selling of key players, Lack of January money tom buy Woodrow from Barnsley(source the Athletic online paper).
  9. I think England would have won the game early cos Ali, Morgan and Livingstone won't have had gone for it from ball 1. Malan is great against Pace but his game isn't good enough against Quality spin or spinning wickets. Thats why I would play him cos in the 20twenty world cup those wickets will spin. England players's techniques have got better cos they are playing in 20twenty competitions around the world whether its the IPL or PSL or the big bash.
  10. Joe, You are correct that the kits haven't arrived at Rovers yet. They are hopefully they will be here by Friday but the club couldn't confirmed this would happen when I spoke to someone who is involved in the Kits process. They were hopeful that kits would be available for sale on Wednesday for the Leeds game but the club is waiting on Macron to deliver them
  11. no one said he was coming here but since our first game of the season is Swansea at home and its appears that they are going to lose their very good manager in Steve Cooper before that game and it will leave them with a problem and could help us. Hopefully he does leave and we can win that first game
  12. I totally agree with the above statement. It doesn't matter who the manager or owner is that will never stop me attending games as ST holder. This is my club and the club I have supports for over 30 years now Thanks Rev for that. I agree with you that it is watching Rovers or England otherwise its nothing for me anymore. Before the pandemic starts Ive been to watch odds games with friends who supports other teams but within in honest never enjoyed cos I don't support or have passion for that team or never say die attitude for that club like mine is Blackburn Rovers Yes I think Carter is good enough. He was very good at Burton from match reports and Hasselbaink were full of praise of him.
  13. The EFL had placed Rovers under a Profit & Sustainability embargo following the submission of their financial forecast in March. The financial results were then tracked against that forecast and until those were met, the club were subject to an embargo. In essence, Rovers had to prove the projections that would see them fall within the P&S framework worked in reality. The club took advantage of a three-month Government-agreed extension to accounting dates to submit their figures for the year to June 30 2020. Those showed losses of £21.9m for the 2019/20 season, a rise of £3.7m for the previous year. The Rovers accounts were signed off in December 2020 for the year to March 2020, but weren’t made available on the Companies House website until July. Clubs can be placed under an embargo, and sanctioned, for late filing of their accounts, as Derby County have been, but Rovers’ accounts had been with the EFL since March, and their publication in early July was due to a backlog on the Government system. Why Blackburn Rovers were placed under a transfer embargo | Lancashire Telegraph The EFL wanted to keep everything away from the media until final decisions were so what could Rovers say public until final decisions were made? Its quite shocking the length you keep going to continuous knock the club you support.
  14. Long term replaced by Kaminski who is much better than Raya. Walton was last minute option
  15. You are given a deadline of end of June so you have to filed them so what's the problem. They were filed on time. Did the EFL needs to put us in embargo? Who cares if Luton or Coventry have made signings? Any of then good quality who are better than we have? Good luck to Cardiff then if they are done.
  16. It seems that Steve Cooper is leaving Swansea shortly from his role there and some of his staff are going with him accordingly to this article. https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/swanseacity/news/55298/steve-cooper-the-final-days-are-here Which Club is he joining? He has the same agent as Mowbray I believe. Is this correct @Miller11?
  17. Its seem alot of football clubs did the same. But why Didn't the EFL deadline day not fall in line with Companies house deadline anyway that gives companies which Blackburn Rovers Football Club is first 3 month extension to file the accounts. Think around 10 championship clubs didn't file their accounts by end of March. teams like Coventry, Luton, Cardiff and Derby all used the option of a three-month extension to file company accounts. Coventry City chief executive Dave Boddy criticises 'ridiculous' transfer embargoes placed on some Championship clubs - BBC Sport
  18. I'm on Holiday that week with the family
  19. excellent win by England. Livingstone's six was crucial for England. Still don't think Malan gets into my starting 11 as he isn't good enough against Spin for me. My starting 11 for the 20twenty competition would be Roy, Buttler, Bairstow, Stokes, Morgan, Livingstone, Ali, Sam Curran, Jordan, Archer, Rashid then Malan, Parkinson, Willey, Mahmood as squad players
  20. We went in embargo cos we filed the Club's accounts in line with the Government schedule dates not the EFL dates.
  21. I would took Alex Mowatt or Cauley Woodrow from Barnsley last summer. Yes Barnsley are well run and sign players to a plan.
  22. Great to Old Trafford nearly full with fans. Its great atmosphere tonight. Morgan back in tonight.
  23. I can't control the number of fans who have decide not to renew their season tickets. Yes I agree that Waggott is out of touch with fans and doesn't know how to get fans back at Ewood. Waggott needs to communicate with non season tickets and find out how to get them back if you can now cos people circumstances have changed since this pandemic starts Yes 5k isn't very good and Its sad to the club go that way but I will continue to renew my season ticket each season.
  24. Hope you take his money. Barnsley have just lost their CEO to Forest recently and if Venkys had tried I think we could have appointed here. Who knows on how the Barnsley manager will turn out but they have lost their best player Alex Mowatt to WBA. on Cardiff and McCarthy? have they signed many players we would want here?
