Coventry v ROVERS

We have some lucky with Johnson;s goals at Bournemouth and Derby. If a player hits the post that isn't luck. You can have different point of view but we don't know what the result of playing 2 up front would be. Might have won or lost. None of us know apart from guess work and opinion. I don't see the point of comparing this season to last season as we are playing formation and style to last season. Wycombe were done at 3 nil and the sending off was stupid and the Wycombe player should have let Armstrong through on goal. Different situation if they were winning or drawing of losing 2-1 but we were 3 nil up. pointless sending off Yes but Lolley's shot wasn't going in until the defection -

haha. Sounds good Mercer. I enjoyed my Gammon, Eggs, chips and beans last night. Plus my full English. Always tasting better a good win. I agree on the 2 most difficult away out of the way. Mowbray needs to stick this formation and style even when Dack is back cos it will work and get us top 6 this season -

Yes Foster did. Watford head coach said we were the best team they had faced. We should have at least a point there -

But none of that is the reasons why we lost the Forest. It was cruel defection goal. We could have gone 4-4-2 and lost the game by 2 goals. who knows. Rest of it is speculating and guess work. Most championship clubs don't play the Cardiff way. Watford was a solid defensive team from the games Ive seen before we played them and we created a number of chances against them. You need to look at the Cardiff and Forest in isolation as 2 teams playing differently for me. The current way of playing is right for our current squad of players. It is yielding results, performances and goals -
Hoilett and that particular manager was very different to our current manager. Mowbray is nothing like him and very different to him. Crooke and Sharpe have both asked Mowbray the same questions and get the same comments. Talks on going with players.

Thanks for joining the website. what your view on your new manager/head coach and the structure behind him? is there a sporting director in charge of signings there? What was your view of Mark Bowen going and who made that decision? -

Cardiff played a very structure way which most teams in this league don't. Harris has them very well drilled and deserved credit for them. But we did take 4 points from them last season. Rothwell playing against Forest would have help us especially when Holtby wasn't available is We play a very specific way and I likely the way we are trying to play football now. I don't any of those decisions cost points at all in the scheme of things. -
Jaquob Crooke Twitter account Rovers and Mowbray hasnt gone publicly with contract talks but why should we tho?. Williams might move on next season. Depends on what offers are available
-
We are in contract talks with Holtby, Rothwell, Dack, Rankin-Costello, Williams, Nyambe I've read. I would given Armstrong a new deal.which I think.will be done quickly. Lenihan is Captain now so should be easy to do. Expect Holtby and Rothwell, Rankin-Costello to sign new contracts. Doubt Nyambe will. Not.a huge fan of his at times but am at others times

no one is given Mowbray a free pass but when Holtby and Rothwell arent available for the Forest game it was going to reduced our ability to win the game surely? on Cardiff, I think alot of teams will struggled to break them down cos of the way they played. Its ain't beautiful to watch but effect. Harris deserved praised for last season playoff position. But now he got Wilson he may be open abit more. Different managers play different tactics and formations and its enjoyable to watch these different styles at times -

It is good news that Pundits are realising we have a good team and going forward hopefully we will make top 6 this season and promotion. Tho I thought we would when we have Rhodes and Gestede in the team and we didn't. Elliott reminds me of Salah type of right side of front 3. Armstrong movement and finishing ability is the best in the league for me. Already 7 goals in 7 games. So could be on 25 goals at least this season. -

Analysing the game on Quest's EFL highlights show, Parkin said: "They're probably one of the last teams in the division you'd want to go down to ten men for 75 minutes against because Blackburn's front line are scintillating at the moment." Morrison followed that up, adding: "Harvey Elliott and Brereton are really good. Armstrong has been oustanding. Tell me a better front three in the Championship at the moment? I can't, and they're in really good form.
