I think Ryan Manning is a very good footballer, I imagine QPR are not going to let him walk away. "We haven't got any money to buy anybody. How much is Ryan Manning going to cross? If you're going to buy a player, you have to buy the player and then you have to give him a salary. "So I would say there is enough money to buy one player who can help us to get to where we want to be or we could loan two or three players and use that money as salary, which just becomes dead money at your club at the end of the year. "Our decision is ultimately whether to loan some players who are going to help us in a one-off season or are we going to buy one player who can be ours? "But then we've got more than one position that we feel we need to strengthen or cover, it's a difficult conundrum for us, somewhere along the line we'll see what falls in place. "If not, you saw the team today, there is a lot of young players who are doing the job. How young is that team today? It's a pretty young group of footballers who are trying their best and yet I know, and maybe you know as well, that it's very difficult to maintain consistency with seven or eight U23 players in your team all season. "We would like to strengthen in certain areas or cover in certain areas because we know the games are going to come thick and fast. "I know exactly to the penny how much we've got but it's probably a couple of loans or a signing, I would suggest, and I'm not sure I'd want to spend it all on Ryan Manning when we've got Amari'i Bell doing ok, so there's other areas I feel we need to strengthen first."

At home against a team that I thought we were going to get in behind, Rankin-Costello with his ability to pick a pass even though he didn't do it well enough at times today, I felt it was a chance for Rankin-Costello to play right-back rather than Nyambe. "The first two games, Nymabe's physical data has been through the roof, higher than I've ever seen it and this was the third game in a week, we don't want another hamstring injury, another problem for another first-team player. Dack's comment on instagram

His working relationship with Mowbray and the fact he is playing the number 9 role finally which teams in Premier League probably wouldn't do cos of his size. So which bigger teams do you see being interest in him? Also I don't see this obsess with Dack coming back into the team. He is weeks away from being back in 1st team picture and I wouldn't be changing the formation just for Dack cos its really suiting us more, and our front 3 and midfield 3 are performing very well/excellent. Holtby is suiting this deep role and Rothwell produce 2 assists today. I wouldn't be moving Armstrong from 9 role either.

well Fraser did run of him and Nyambe did stop tracking him and was too deep beyond the rest of the defender but no reason to drop unless it was tactical or injury. Has Mowbray said why Nyambe didnt play today?

He needs to be given a new contract asap.

who knows what was discussed in Thursday meeting. Is Mowbray using the media to ask like the club is skint to get clubs to lower their demands. who knows. We need a left back and back up keeper. But after that I am happy with the squad unless someone leaves. Yes I have mention Josh Cullen from West Ham recently but thats was a discussion about potential midfielder signing if we could after signing Left back and back up keeper plus me not in favour of signing Ben Whiteman for the fee Doncaster they want. I am happy with the forward options who knows what is imminent or not with Rovers. Maybe Rovers don't want leaks to happen. We could make a signing Monday or Tuesday. Who knows

We see in the coming days and weeks. I think Mowbray is not giving everything away and keeping his cards close to chest. We deffo need a left back. and centre back if Williams moves on. Plus a back up keeper

excellent performance today. 5 goals from16 shots on target from 23 total shots. Armstrong is a striker and should play the 9 role, he's goal machine. Deserved his hat trick. This 4-3-3 formation is working well and suits Rothwell and Holtby so well and our front 3. Just a shame we wasn't at the stadium watching this performance

We were 6th in goals scored last season. Goal scoring isnt the problem. Ayala and Kaminski in and left back coming in next week hopefully we improve our defensive record. Correct
