  1. Have players in Germany been wearing masks during games?
  2. Rovers recorded no positive tests after latest round of testing according to Rich Sharpe https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18494237.efl-reveals-number-positive-results-latest-covid-19-tests/
  3. Well if we cannot go back into Stadium for few years then what then? Scrap football and sport forever?
  4. Preston’s Premier League promotion bid hit as stars have to go into self-isolation following positive coronavirus tests https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/11767573/preston-coronavirus-positive-tests-squad-self-isolation/
  5. Taylor is 30 years old and out of contract. He told Charlton in January that he wouldn't be signing a new contract. So they could have sold him then
  6. That's is what has been reported by the LT that Walton and Adarabioyo have had their loan deals amended to take into account the extended seasons. I haven't read that story so I cannot comment. Yes very true but I would have thought we would extend Downing's contract. Not sure on Graham. Luetwiler will go. I can understand Lyle Taylor not wanting play on his he got a big move on the cards. I don't know if he has btw
  7. Rovers have secure loan extensions to Walton and Adarabioyo to the end of this current season. LT reported this on 19th of May. Clubs have until the 23rd of June to make it known to their out of contract players whether they intend to release them or offer a new contract or try and agree a deal to see out the remainder of the delayed 2019/.20 season. Rovers have a club option on Bell to extend his contract for 12 months
  8. I have look into it actually Paul. People at Oxford university said 80% chance of vaccine being ready by September in April. Now that could be end of the year. There is other treatment trials happening at the minute. AstraZeneca said they could have 30 million doses ready by September of the Oxford University vaccine if it works. So we will see Sorry I disagree as it allowed fans to watch as much as they want. You might not watch football on tv but millions of people will be doing so. But that isnt currently possible. Making stadiums coronavirus safe and social distancing rules is impossible there. Just imagine the nightmare of supporters using toilet and catering facilities at Stadium. I would like nothing no more than go to Ewood Park and watch football inside a Stadium. But we cant. So having as much football on TV is the next best thing for millions of fans.
  9. Lyle Taylor wont play cos if he gets injury it will affect his next move. Hes 30 years old so it could be his last big move. Chris Solly is the same reason. Plus David Davis doesn't want to go back there.
  10. Here the interview https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=sarah+gilbert+vaccine+september&&view=detail&mid=4AF01FE353FD486E748B4AF01FE353FD486E748B&&FORM=VRDGAR&ru=%2Fvideos%2Fsearch%3Fq%3Dsarah%2Bgilbert%2Bvaccine%2Bseptember%26FORM%3DHDRSC3
  11. The government has banned supporters from attending games and from other sporting events. Look at the comments from Sarah Gilbert at Oxford university when she was on BBC in April saying she was 80% sure she would have vaccine by September. We have ordered 100 million doses. So why don't we wait and see first. It could end of the year. who knows. Lets leave it to the experts. Just imagine attending a game currently with social distancing and other measures in place. It would be nightmare unless we are going to wear face masks/coverings plus gloves. Plus imagine using the toilet or the catering facilities. It would a logistics nightmare and chaos at a football stadium
  12. we don't know this so lets leave it to experts from Oxford University and other people who are working on the vaccine. Sarah Gilbert from Oxford University was confident of a vaccine by September when talking BBC in April. We have ordered 100 million doses of the vaccine as long as it works The EFL clubs know fans are important to their clubs and the community. If the football authorities and the government had no interest in the fans then they wouldn't have put every Premier League game on TV so fans of all PL clubs can watch them. I expect the EFL will do similar with the games. Whether it watching online of Sky Tv. I disagree that Football has forgotten me. They have provided me with plenty of TV Coverage to watch live football.
  13. That's if the season has to stopped.
  14. we will see. seen some reports that we will get a vaccine and treatment but we will see Yes he was on Sky Sports. QPR's complaint is over the timing of the announcement
  15. And who says it will be safe by then and what happens if no vaccine or treatment is found?
  16. Cos Sky and BT paid for so many games per season to show live. Tend to be in 3 seasons blocks. So Sky are showing their games they paid plus more live games for free on Pick channel. At the last TV Deal Sky bought 4 packages of 32 games each package. BT Sport bought 2 packages(32 games and 20 games packages) and Amazon bought 20 games per season. So the extra games not covered in the TV deal are being shown on tv now that fans cant attend games so everyone can see football if they wish.
  17. Government has done it so fans who dont have Sky or BT can watch live Premier league football. Not every football fan does.
  18. Cos the government asked Premier league and broadcasters to do so. So fans who dont have Sky or BT could watch games on normal tv.
  19. Would you agree that Premier League football is a TV Sport then? I know of football fans who support Liverpool or Man City or Man Utd who never attend games but what every game of their clubs through streams and Sky Sports TV at home. I think me and you would rather attend Rovers games in stadiums then watch Rovers games on TV. But currently that's not available but I would rather watch Football on TV if we cant be in the stadium. Yes If Rovers did make the playoffs I would want to be there but that's aint possible sadly. That's the way it currently is. I watch 2 or 3 La Liga games a week, which will be less possibly if they clash with watching Rovers and PL games. But you don't hear many of their clubs fans inside Stadiums.
  20. But nothing is the same currently and Football wont be the same but that's the part of this new normal of life. Haven't you been a regular of the German League on BT Sport? Don't you watch plenty of PL and EFL football when its on TV before this pandemic?
  21. guess so but more comfort in my armchair. Of Course if you gave me an option of Ewood Park or my armchair watching Rovers I would say Ewood Park. When Liverpool win the title it is going to strange to pick the league title in an empty stadium but that's is part of new normal of life for short period of time. Football is a TV Sport already as at least 4 to 6 PL games are on TV regularly anyway. Haven't you been regular watcher of the German League on BT Sport? I haven't due I wont pay BT Sport monthly fee of 25 pounds. I will be engrossed in Rovers 9 games as always. It wont be the same as attending games but it is still my team going for playoffs and playing. We will be discussing I'm sure on here and other social media platforms. Will I still be watching the PL and EFL games on TV when they are back on So you want no EFL for years if we don't get a vaccine or treatment? Most EFL clubs would have gone bankrupt as wages of players would still have to be paid if under contract.
  22. too old and too injury to play football or other sports
