  1. Here is the highlights of that Forest vs Arsenal game https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=nottingham+forest+vs+arsenal&ru=%2fvideos%2fsearch%3fq%3dnottingham%2bforest%2bvs%2barsenal%26FORM%3dHDRSC3&view=detail&mid=7132C1331F69E4898F937132C1331F69E4898F93&rvsmid=99C71F34282A272338EA99C71F34282A272338EA&FORM=VDQVAP https://www.nottinghampost.com/sport/football/football-news/rampaging-ben-brereton-effectively-retired-1026400
  2. If I was owner of any football club it would be my decision to whether hire or fire the manager. I watched the class of 92 series on Sky Sports and the decisions on the manager choice/future was with the owners and the sporting director of Salford City club. Then I have watched the Sunderland TV Documentary series where it was Sunderland CEO Martin Bain choice on the manager hiring and firing. Fair enough. I have used both Mowbray and Waggott comments on the situation for my viewpoint
  3. Well that's opinion. As I have told you before I think there is a player in Gallagher but the last 2 years of his career hasn't help his development and if anything put him back a year or 2. He had chances against Birmingham where he should have scored hat trick. From what Mowbray has said we are looking a winger coming in so that's free Armstrong up who I believe can achieve another 10 goals for us this season if used properly. Also getting back to basics defending wise help and Get Rothwell and Downing wide will help us going forward and Rothwell need to score and assist more. His form isn't not the best but Mowbray and the coaching staff have to get him back to his best Did we not bid for Maddison and Marriott 18 months ago? Sure it was mention on here
  4. Yes. Firstly he played against us before. Plus I watched the Forest Arsenal game when he rip Per Mertesacker apart. Plus highlights and live games Forest were involved in. I don't need Google. I watched alot of football
  5. anyone from the Fan Forum post what was said last night please? Isn't @only2garners on the fan forum?
  6. you know for sure? just another guess? I would guess very few CEO in Football now have permission to sack the manager without authorisation from the owner of the club
  7. The entire team chip in. It shouldn't be left to one person to score the goals but we have to get back to basics and start keeping clean sheets and being defensively solid. Can expect out forward/attacking players to score 2 or 3 goals to win or draw. I would take a 1 nil win every game I very much agree with this. Get back to basics and keep clean sheet. With Armstrong playing up front with Graham or Gallagher we will get chances. Similar to Dyche's way worse than Coyle? never in a million years. How Coyle got the job we will never know
  8. I will hold my hands by saying I have been hugely disappointed by him and by the way Mowbray has played him. He was never his 1st choice IMO and it has show from day 1. He played for Forest 18 months before we signed him plus part the England under 19's squad aswell
  9. Well I have been saying towards the end of last week and this week about playing 2 up front. Armstrong with either Graham or Gallagher as his partner.
  10. Yep I would move Armstrong up front and let him replace Dack goals. He is the best finisher we got at the club in my opinion.
  11. Like I have posted yesterday. Waggott has said he was head hunted by a head hunting company. Mowbray has said he had no part in the hiring of Waggott. We have had Paul Hunt in Deputy CEO role(Basically CEO as he was running the club at that time). We had Derek Shaw as MD at Rovers for a number of years. We had Alan Myers running the club for few months before he left. Then we had Mike Cheston, the Finance director running the club for few months before the club appointed Paul Senior was appointed Director of football and operations before he resigned. Then a few months later we appointed Waggott. So basically we have actually had someone running the club in varied management roles,
  12. Isn't Samuel in talks with Gillingham at this minute? Thanks for sharing The Lancs Live Rovers reporter Jaquob Crooke has confirmed to me just now that we are one of the 2 other bidders Thanks Paul no I wouldn't. I rather play Armstrong up front
  13. why would any Manager come out and say we got loads of millions to spend? Do we money to spend like Brereton or Gallagher money? No But if the rumour is correct that we have been bid for Maddison or other players than it would suggest we have some money. do you agree?
  14. The best way IMO. He wanted Gallagher that summer before we got Brereton. Instead of buying Brereton why didn't we wait and scout properly or go for someone more proven or older. People have been touted him on here for 18 months to 2 years. Is that the young striker at Stoke? out of contract in the summer? I deffo wouldn't mind Ryan Woods from Stoke. He is available Ive read
  15. I think your last sentence in the 1st paragraph is very unwarranted IMO. If you say that Waggott was interested in the job after being head hunting by the company Rovers hired because Mowbray was here as the manager then fair enough. I can accept that. Well did someone at Ewood recommend Coyle to Venkys cos wasn't the job basically Warnock before Cheston went away on Holiday for few days? why didn't Cheston get the deal before he went away?
  16. ok fair enough, well I only heard it once. I asked the people I went with who sit in Blackburn End and Jack Walker upper. they heard it once.
  17. Antonsson played it brilliant from left in league 1. I heard it once all game.
  18. Cos he was manager here?
  19. I don't know how many fans it was tbh. I sit in the middle of Blackburn End Row 13 and no one said it around me. I imagined it came from the fans who stand in the Blackburn end towards the Jack Walker stand. Was I happy seeing Gallagher wide? no I am but He show plenty of effort and commitment. And that's what I expect even if not your best role.
  20. if you look at Waggott's comments when he was appointed he explained how the role came around and said that Rovers hired a head hunting company to find a CEO “There’s a headhunting company who scour the market for people to fill posts in sport, predominantly football. “I was approached by a couple of clubs but when this one came on the radar I was extremely interested because of the size of the club, the history of the club, the whole infrastrucutre of the club. “I thought that it could be an unbelievably good challenge for me.” https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/15984156.chief-executive-steve-waggott-background-move-came-appeal-joining-rovers/
  21. If we are letting Brereton and Samuel leave, plus Dack injured and Holtby not always being fit, only leaves you 3 players, one is Graham who is 34 years old and cant play every minute of every game now. recommending Bauer. I don't think. I posted the link to the Bauer story when Alan Nixon ran the article in the Summer 2018. I said that Mowbray wanted him. I name a number of defenders we could have signed during the summer of 2018 and 2019. That's your view he has been impressing all season. Was I impress yesterday? nope. Armstrong has the beaten of him and He was lightweight against Graham.
  22. Well we had a poll on here, I have also taken part in Mowbray poll on twitter and facebook. A ten second chant from around 150 fans. I didn't hear any Mowbray out chants during the game which I didnt I do get frustrated during games but that's part and parcel of football. I don't like Gallagher out wide but throughout my time as a Rovers fan I don't always agree with the manager's decision or team selection whether it was Souness or Hughes or Allardyce or Bowyer or Appleton. on our transfer policy, Yes I was disappointed we didn't get Jansson in the summer when he was available. They has been over the 18 months Players signed for other teams that I wish we sign here. Players like Matt Smith, Luke Freeman, Jansson, Byram, Douglas, Ezri Konsa, Jake Cooper, Jordan Jones, etc. We have suggested players we would have to sign here if we were in charge
  23. Well Mark, you think what you want pal. Mowbray has said he had no part in it. I see no reason to disbelief him. You may well want to. Another conspiracy theory
