Gallagher gives you a different option to Rothwell and Armstrong. Yes definitely our final ball needs working on. at the minute our best chances are falling to midfielders. I'm not bothered who scores as long as we win. How many of those games did Gallagher start up front and how many minutes has he played in those 21 games? didn't offer any attacking threat in either game? Well clearly he did
-
cant offer a goal threat if our final ball has been so poor as I have said many times to you before. That's the major problem but we are winning 1 nil which I will take. We need to improve in a number of areas and each week we are getting better week on week. Our passing and final ball need improving but it has been getting better week on week The decision to head the ball back across was the right one. couldn't head it on target from his position if you look at his body and feet positions I have discuss Brereton at length with you off this site so I don't see the need to discuss it again I would both Gallagher and Graham against Cardiff for their height in both boxes. The biggest decision is who replace Cunningham at left back.

no nothing said about it. Look more of impact injury tbh Gallagher missed a chance in the penalty area that he should have done better with. miss hit it. He proved he can perform from the right wing like he did against Boro where he was very good. Majority of those apperences Gallagher ha played in would have been under Steve Cotterill who played long ball route one football. that style doesn't suit his style. Armstrong played a vital role with his pace cos Hull played such a high line defensive he could get in regular and he should have scored 1. Hull have some decent players but we stop Bowen all night. The other winger played well but second half we stop him mostly. Hull lack an quality striker and 2. On Cardiff, for me, I'm surprise by Warnock signings up front this summer. I expect better tbh.

Very much agree on Graham. He a different player when he doesnt start.. Mowbray said it was work in.progress atm as we can improve and play that final ball much better. Clean sheets help the defence and keeper confidence. But you can see the confidence improvement in Walton. Lenihan and Williams played like they wouldnt give up that clean sheet without a fight. Good to see.

wins are win. simple as. Can only beat who we played.
-
Bennett is the best right back we got. Nyambe isn't good enough. Armstrong played today cos we wanted to play more on the counter. Still think Chapman building his fitness I thought he was good tpoday. won tackles, heading was good enough really? He was very good on Saturday. Work his socks off, won the ball

Very good win. Williams my man of the match. Outstanding there. Back 4 played very well. Impressed. Walton getting better each game. Impress by his pen save, commanding of area and coming out for crosses. Travis and Johnson very good. We got into some great positions by final ball was poor. We should have won by more. Impressed by Mowbray tactics. We can play much better as well so work in progress..

I think Graham will start on Saturday. On Saturday, i think he knew he was done on Saturday and signalled to the bench to come off

3-1 Rovers. Dack first goalscorer Armstrong caused Hull massive problems last season away up front..

Correct Matty

maybe sometimes it does but I have found bring in someone from the outside can upset team morale and lead to problems within the team. I think Barr is a sensible and logic appointment considering the vast majority of current 23's players have all worked under him at under 18's level
-
what up turn? they finish 4th in the league at the end of the season. Maybe Moore would have done better in the playoffs than caretaker manager JImmy Shan did Yes Jenkins(CEO) and Dowling(DoF) sacked Moore without any sort of plan in place of a replacement. Turned down by Jokanovic and Neil for the job.
-
Barr appointment seems a sensible and logic one to me. He has worked with the majority of current under 23 squad as they came through the under 18's when he was in charge there. So he also deserve some of the credit for their development as does Johnson. I know that Rich Sharpe tweeted that Rovers interviewed 6 people for head coach job. it appears that Mowbray, Crass and Jones were all involved in the decision to appoint Billy Barr as under 23's manager

Barr named under 23's boss https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/august/billy-barr-named-under-23s-boss/

I would say under Hughes it was alot more than just blood and thunder stuff. Some of the football we played under Hughes was excellent

who knows? number of different factors. ticket price increase from game to game, school holidays so people going away, work commitments now people work a number of different working patterns, other family commitments, etc I agree we wouldn't see a big jump in terms of attendance. we probably have regular walk ons who go to a game a month
-
didn't we have 3k walk ons fans if ST holders are 10k. They were just over 13k Rovers fans on against Charlton. and we have 11.5k Rovers fans against Boro. people who are none ST holders will pick and choose their games especially now each fan knows the price for each home game before the season starts. It allows for fans to hand pick their games or even save up for certain games. I know several people who aren't ST holders who are hand picking their games cos they cant committed to attending each home games due to work and family commitments.

He was on Pulis coaching staff. Doing alot of training sessions by the end of the season. Think Pulis knew End Of March/start of April he was leaving. Fans didnt like him or his moaning about lack of funds there

Cardiff looking very poor -
I'm not sure that Woodgate currently going anywhere. Gibson will give him a proper chance after appointing him
-
not really. I bought the chips on the open fan day. The quality is miles better than last season. I tend to buy a burger from outside the ground at the burger van behind the club shop how does our prices compare to other championship clubs?

Butterworth was injured Stuart

Exactly Farke struggled in his 1st season in England but Webber stood by him. Look how it turn out for Huddersfield with Siewert. Highly regarded coach but not a first team manager

good win today iaby the players who show loads of passion and desire. The back 4 was very good and Walton look better behind this back 4. The clean sheet will give him confidence. Impressed by all back 4 players. Williams show what we been missing. A leader in the back 4. Travis and Johnson was very good. Gallagher never stop running and working all game. Impressed by him. Graham and Dack show why they are good partnership. Today was about winning and getting 3 points not about style of play. I thought Mowbray got it spot on today. Fans singing him name. Pleased he came over to clapped the fans who had sung his name and show us some appreciation.
