Summer Transfer Window 2019
chaddyrovers replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Rovers have bids in for players Matty. I have no names just that we have bids in. Source wont say any more. I'm pleased that there is no leaks from us. Its good then we can hopefully get our targets in. Mowbray said yesterday we wanted a centre back for money in if you look carefully at his words. I hope that is big money buy like Cooper from Millwall. Think he is just what we need next to Lenihan. -

I think Parker will do a good job at Fulham and get them back to the Premeir league at the first attempt. I think Huddersfield will be mid table and I'm not sure Siewert will be there come Christmas time. I think Adkins will replace him there. Cardiff are lacking strikers at the minute. They need 2 new strikers in. Or I don't think they make top 6 imo -

delighted that Travis has signed a new contract. great news W have missed out our 1st choices for the keeper slot. We missed out on a foreign target aswell for the slot as Rich Sharpe as reported. We have the Martinez deal which hasn't worked out as we would have like. Sadly this happened. So we have had to work down our list. not ideal Walton replacing Raya as I would agree but if he the best we can get the fair enough. We seemed to be saving the rest of the money for centre back permanent so that's see if we can get this done and dusted before the start of the season. The time to judge the transfer window and our business is after the window closes not now. -

I believe we have missed out on our 1st 3 choices for keeper slot. was Ruddy or Hart ever realistic target or even Mowbray targets? not what Ive heard. Rich Sharpe has said we have missed out on targets for the Keeper slot. I like Eastwood and think he is decent number 2 for us. just not sure Walton is the right choice as number 1 keeper at this stage. I still Believe selling Raya was right for the club and people also need to realise he wanted out aswell. @Bbrovers2288 Martinez, the Arsenal keeper who was on loan at Reading last season would have been an excellent signing. Thankyou for sharing the info. You are spot on about the Keeper search hasn't gone the way Mowbray and club wanted. I hope the Walton deal is loan to buy deal. -

I was very surprise by WBA appointment of Bilic. They are short of a quality striker or 2 and wide player. I understand why Boro appointed Woodgate and the cost cutting has said there. Still expect another 1 or 2 players like Britt Assombolonga to go. I think Fulham will win the league. keeping Mitrovic will be key to their promotion bid. I expect Bielsa to be gone by Christmas at Leeds. paying 6 mil pounds a year for manager and he still cant get you up. expecting a parting of the ways there. I think Stoke will challenge for top 6 but I not be impressed by their signings. mainly squad players. Cardiff are lacking 2 strikers currently. I think they go for Assombolonga and if they get him I expect them top 6. I expect another 50 to 60 incoming transfers to be done in the championship in the last 18 days of transfer window. Teams like Reading need 5 or 6 signings just to stay up. no 1st choice keeper in or any strikers of quality at the club. -

Hello Guys, hope you are all well. my views on signings so far. Bradley Johnson, very good signing and I wasn't expect someone of his experience. Great to get him on a free considering his experience and knowledge of this league Stewart Downing, wasn't a fan of this signing but can understand why Mowbray wanted him use. same as Johnson. Sam Gallagher, pleased with this signing, I know that Mowbray has wanted him for over 12 months back here aswell. on the potential signings on Walton and Adarabioyo:- Walton, im undecided on tbh. I don't think he was Mowbray 1st or 2nd choice for goalkeeper slot. Hopefully we still trying to get an experience keeper in which we need. Hope the Walton deal is loan to buy deal. Adarabioyo, I think he will be good signing. experience the championship last season and will only grow with his experience last season. what do we need after those two signings experience keeper. Im still hoping for Forster from Southampton or Adrian the ex West Ham Keeper on a free. I'm pleased we have hopefully move on from Scott Carson. I wanted earlier in the summer but after the 1875 podcasts on the keeper situation I was very much put off by the stats on Carson. Centre back. If we could get Liam Cooper I would be delight cos that the type of signing we need in. Seems that what Mowbray is saving his money for and partly why Raya was sold aswell as him wanted out which he did. I did want a right back but I'm happy with the current 3 options there. I did want Sam Byram but he want to Norwich who got a great deal for him. Obujado was another I want but went Sheff Wed before Bruce left -

The plan was discussed to death when Mowbray talked at the fan meeting. So where had refuse to discuss it? Discussed it at the time.. So refused nothing so please stop lying again

it going to very interesting to see who get the playoffs places. changing week after week -
I'm still backing Mowbray 100%. I am not going over the reasons because I have stated why he is the right manager for us going forward many times.

Poor 1st half. MgGinn was quality. Shame we never signed him. Bennett was shocking 1st half. Gave McGinn far too much space. Villa were excellent Thought we played very well second half. Went 4-3-3 more with Dack deeper. Gave us more of a foothole in game. Would like to see the Brereton penalty incident again. He did well. Playing in 10 role. Armstrong missed a good chance. Rothwell skill and tricky good. Lenihan being back is a massive positive. Second half positive performance.

Thats would give us 2 right backs, 4 centre backs and 2 left backs all challenging for a spot in the defence -

It says League one and Europe. I expect one from each. I hope 5 signings in defensive areas. A new keeper, 1 new right back, 2 centre back and 1 left back. Heneghan was excellent last week at Bradford for Blackpool. Bauer had good reviews. So I expect 1 signing to either of these -
yawn!
