  1. I was still in my young years(less than 5 years old) when Walker bought the club. So I don't know the Bancroft and Fox era too much. I don't see the owners telling Mowbray he cant sign defenders for x or y or z reasons. Mowbray has the final decision. I don't know why he didn't sign the defenders we needed. Too loyal to current players.
  2. Mowbray wanted Ben Hegenhan when we got relegated to league 1 but Sheff Utd got him. I thought Mowbray might move for him in the summer after his good spell at Blackpool from reporters and the 1 game I watched him. Over the 2 summers he had more than enough time to sign one or 2 plus an experience keeper. He failed. Experience right back aswell wouldnt got a miss either.
  3. I agree. Jansson is the one we should have signed We made Preston played awful and take off their playmaker after 30 mins. Bennett marked him out of the game
  4. I want an experience keeper and centre back plus right back and left back. They were plenty available. Hilton has looked decent in games tbh that ive seen. Nope. I say no one is automatic a place in my team. I said we need a Jansson or Hector signing. Experience, leader. Plus another. Plus an experience keeper, right back and left back. Williams was rough up yesterday and couldnt cope. Adarabioyo is young but we get better. Need to play next to an experience partner. Tbh, thought it was a soft pen.tbh. Browne had hold of Bennett's shirt just as much tbh. Thought he was outstanding at man marking Gallagher out of the game. Not for me. Walton is better at command of area and shot stopping where he is very good. Both keepers have their weaknesses. Exactly why I wanted an experience keeper in
  5. Exactly. Cooper came accross very well. Britton is sporting direction there. I guess it would be those 3. This is why Im in favour of Sporting director/head coach structure. Bring in experience sporting director like Phil Giles, Mike Rigg, Steve Walsh then pick a head coach after that appointment
  6. We should have push higher up the pitch. Agree with Bauer. Disagree with Raya. We need an experience keeper
  7. stop banging on about Hughton and Pulis
  8. Cowley aint coming here I haven't said they aren't any options out there. Look at the job Steve Cooper is doing at Swansea. Brilliant. I've named a number of different manages out there we could get.
  9. we will see. You can keep your attitude if it like that to yourself. 3 managers were sacked on Monday and one on Tuesday. If the owners want promotion then they have huge decisions to make here
  10. Waggott will do as they say. simple as. Plus Suhail is here aswell. Wonder what he will say?
  11. wont be his decision to make tho. If the Owners decide its time for a change then it will be made, If you was owner of football club surely you would make the decision the manager not the CEO? I know it would be my decision and Ive would have made it by now. Then I would be involved in selecting the new manager, structure and the way forward
  12. well the meetings would be taking place over the phone and I'm sure the owners aren't happy with the start to this season. The owners will want promotion within the next couple of seasons after their investment in the team. we need a fresh manager with new ideas and thinking. I know who I would want to interview for the job and then select from there. alot of Rovers fans I've spoken to since yesterday and before the game on Friday says its time for change. We need a change.
  13. he has looked good.
  14. I would agree we are attractive proposition with the squad we got, Money spent each season and the young players coming through now. We don't know who will apply for the job if available. We will get plenty of interest for sure. I'm not sure Pulis or Hughton will be interest but we can get a good appointment. Look at Steve Cooper who is in charge at Swansea who impressed so much during his interview he got the job there. He is doing brilliant there despite all the problems behind the scenes there.
  15. Trust I am very much so. Mowbray should have change it very quickly after Preston scored their 1st goal stop banging on about Cowley then. I would become a consultant for free. well look at the roles each played in the 1st half, Bennett job was to man marked Gallagher and he did such a great job of that Neil took him off. Evans played in front of back 4 and marked Johnson and did a very good job. Dack played against Pearson
  16. He should be on any shortlist we have in the future. Done an excellent job there.
  17. Still angry about yesterday second half horror show.
  18. Is that Venkys want really? Yes but you arent yet to suggest who this young manager. Wonder why? Just banging on about Cowley. He aint our manager so just move on pal
  19. He is managing Schalke. Do you really think he is going to leave them for us?.
  20. well thanks for being honest in the 1st place. as for the Bauer point, my view is that no-one is automatic in any team. its down to performance. Would you not agree? How has Bauer been playing for you? Can I also ask why isn't Storey starting for you? you are more than welcome Stuart
  21. Owners would be majority involved in the decision to give him a new contract. We don't know what in the deal
  22. Any decision to sack him wont happen tonight. Most likely a Monday or Tuesday with Venkys. Bowyer and Appleton sacked on a Monday. Coyle sacked on a Tuesday
  23. pointless mentioning Cowley now he's at Huddersfield But you don't mention any names for this young dynamic manager you want? why is this? You really think Waggott gave Mowbray a new contract? really? That would be done by the owners not by him. Would Ainsworth be a target of ours? Would for me, along with Damien Johnson, Pearson, Carvalhl, Adkins. You can add Pulis and Hughton if you wish if their your choice
  24. can you name who these players was please? Does Hughes even want back into management? we not heard much from him since his days at Southampton. Would he take a job if Bowen isn't with him and the same for Eddie N and Hodges. Is he prepare to change his staff like Rowett has done at Millwall now compare to Birmingham days. I didn't hear a thing
