Read the thread properly I would say the squad are quite different but similar quality wise IMO. Yes Mowbray has rebuilt the club, put in place a proper scouting system, etc. After the Coyle episode alot of fans fell out of love with the club. I was close myself. So Mowbray has bought the fans back to the club and made it feel like our club. Actually if you read the thread properly I said yesterday that I said I would give him the season. Alec Stewart withdrawal from the process due to family reasons. Gary Kirsten was arrogant in the interview process and wanted x amount of time off each year and missing parts of yours. The best players in country shouldn't need much coaching as they have been picked for the country cos they are best we got. You have overlooked at county set up for 4 days cricket that is poor to say the least. The pitches aren't made for 4 day cricket. Played the format at the wrong time of the year. That's been the problems for many years. But the same old people overlooked these people. We are going to accept that we don't have many world class players any more. We are going to lose games due to our batsmen aren't the best but it's the best we got Root is our best captain we got atm. Stokes isn't interested in being full time captain.
