  1. Need to get this under control, too many sloppy touches and passes.
  2. Would be bloody typical if somehow O'BRIEN ended up at Rochdale now lol.
  3. Doubt the long term plan is to stay in the Prem. If we get there and then drop down again, O'Brien would be an excellent addition to have alongside parachute payments
  4. Unless it's a false flag. We know that GB and JDT like to keep their cards off the table in the hope of flying under the radar
  5. Please GB not ANOTHER CB, give us a mid and a striker!
  6. He's the exact same age (born literally the same day) as Jamal Lowe who you said we should "definitely" take on, a few hours back. The exact same height as well (though I'm struggling a little on whether that's also relevant or not...)
  7. It's good that everyone is talking about Qatar, its abhorrent human rights record and views on homosexuality. But the thing people should be focusing on more than anything else is the factor that 6,500 migrant workers have died building the stadiums for this world cup, the rest simply pales in comparison - I don't understand why this is hardly mentioned in comparison to everything else that's going on. The hatred people from these countries must feel towards putting on an event for rich people (particularly from the West) and the countries they belong to having almost total ignorance, it's definitely going to come back to bite us at some point, probably soon.
  8. Good to see we haven't seen any major decline over those years, seems to be around 13k core fans who've remained with the club since dropping out the PL
  9. I don't want no subs, Subs at this club can't get no love from me, Hanging out on Bradley Dack's side, with his best friend Clyde, Trapped by JDT
  10. Broughton and team seem to have kept a low profile so far with the signings who've come in until right before announcing, so it's not necessarily all doom and gloom
  11. What is the hype around Gordon - £25m plus two of the most sought after youngsters in football, what is going on? Seems bang average to me Edit: maybe Chelski doing Lampard a favour? I'm stumped otherwise
  12. Cornet had 200-odd appearances for Lyon, before going to Bumley. Definitely proven quality.
  13. Yes, there are more factors than that: - Will the player continue to provide the same output if we don't sell them now (will they be as motivated to play well, will their current form continue, what happens if they get an injury? Etc)? - Do we need that player specifically to get the big prize - is it possible that we can replace the player's quality with the the money generated (and, also, can we turn that into a long term investment rather than one we're just about to lose out on in a year's time)? - Do we want to lose the player for no money in a year more than getting a 2x return on our investment now? Gut feeling says though, I don't think the money will be reinvested well (if at all) if BBD goes, so I'd rather we keep him in the hopes of firing us to the Prem. COYB
  14. If that's true, beggars belief how Gallagher is our 2nd highest earner. Yet more evidence of Mowbray's incompetence (or worse, having favourites within the squad).
  15. If we get two vans out of this, might not be too bad. We could be men... with ven.
  16. (Must avoid Harlem Shake 😵) Kevin Morby - Harlem River
  17. JDT's car is registered in the Netherlands?? 🤔
  18. Almost as good as Wolfgang Wolf of Wolfsburg
  19. Think it's more to do with Financial Fair Play to be fair, they're on a limited budget and can't afford the outlay on lots of big names
