  1. I do, but the problem is that they cant show every match. They wont show us against WBA por ejemplo
  2. Just rewatched the Stockport County and Girona games. Some players below standard; Brittain and Bucko especially. Some emerging talents who will give good competition in the squad. We know that JDT loves competition and isn't afraid of sending a senior down to U21s if he doesn't give his all or performs. Based on the preseason and our squad (availability) I would see us line up like this: Pears JRC - Carter - Hyam - Pickering Tronstad - A Wharton - Smodicz Markanday - Leonard - Dolan * Garrett can come in if we need a more tackling midfielder, I also think he has improved his passing skills a lot during last season and this summer and will be able to fill Travis' shoes if he goes. * If we need to change up things I would move JRC to RW, sub off Markanday or Dolan (depends on WBA and if we want to play with inverted wings or not) and bring on Brittain. I thought Brittain was very sluggish in possession against Stockport. * Give Ennis the last 30 mins (he looked promising coming on against Girona)
  3. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/i-think-hes-gone-coventry-city-fan-pundit-issues-gustavo-hamer-transfer-verdict/ will be interesting to see Cov without Hamer and Gyokeres.
  4. Neither will most Championship teams. Dolan our weakest link at the moment.
  5. Upgrade from Morton. I really like the look of Markanday too. We are winning the ball high up the pitch, but we are very vulnerable on counter attacks.
  6. Give her the card and invite her best friend. It’s probably more fun for both of you
  7. I guess its a bit like Dack. Easing him in. He had a pretty horrific injury only 8 months ago. And I never like to talk about our players this way
  8. Bournemouth media all over it now. Seems to be because the Besiktas deal fell through. Scott Parker stated that he wasn't playing in Carabao Cup because he was probably leaving Mouth.
  9. Actually first you saw about Dembeles name was a link posted by me from football insider. Football insider have been very accurate and early with transfer stories this transfer window.
  10. Gregg Broughton: “A versatile defender, who can play centrally in a two or a three, on the left in a four or a five, and also in midfield, Clinton gives us great options to suit Jon’s desire for tactical flexibility."
  11. Isn't it all about being able to match the opposition. Sometimes we need a midfield destroyer from the start or during the game.
  12. This is the European target they were talking about. Defender AND defensive midfielder. Now we talking!
  13. makes sense and a clear proof that we are thinking 5 at the back. If we get a left-footed CB we have much more flexibility to go more direct and can spread the ball from left to right and right to left in a higher tempo. We can change from playing short in midfield and going long and be very unpredictable.
  14. Might be that we have enquired about Dembele and are preparing some targets if we sell BBD tonight. However I would not sell below 25m.
  15. Sources: Blackburn Rovers in advanced talks to sign Siriki Dembele Blackburn Rovers are in advanced talks to sign Bournemouth attacker Siriki Dembele, sources have told Football Insider. The winger was a target for Turkish giants Besiktas, but Blackburn are now well placed to lure him to Ewood Park. https://www.footballinsider247.com/blackburn-rovers-in-advanced-talks-to-sign-siriki-dembele/
  16. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/premier-league-bristol-city-targets-7418321 Maybe someone here. The number one target should be Mathias Normann. Was almost 100% ready for Lecce in Serie A on loan from Rostov, but Lecce decided to cancel the deal. He is tough as nails, comes with PL experience and pop ups with the occasional goal. Would be a perfect signing on loan with option to buy.
  17. This is true. We are a bit lightweight in the CM area. On the flip side we don't want people in which dampens the development of Wharton and Buckley. Here's how the Rovers squad is shaping up so far... GK: Thomas Kaminski, Aynsley Pears, Joe Hilton RB: Callum Brittain, Joe Rankin-Costello CB: Daniel Ayala, Scott Wharton, Dom Hyam, Hayden Carter, Ash Phillips, Sam Barnes* LB: Harry Pickering, Tayo Edun CM: Lewis Travis, John Buckley, Tyler Morton, Adam Wharton, Jake Garrett Forwards: Ben Brereton, Sam Gallagher, Bradley Dack, Sam Szmodics, Ryan Hedges, Tyrhys Dolan, George Hirst, Jack Vale, Dilan Markanday *expected to miss much of the season with an ACL injury
  18. It has been stated several times that Left Back is not a position they are looking to upgrade as we spent money on bought Pickering and Edun January 2021.
