You do keep saying it but his last 3 roles (Middlesbrough, Huddersfield & Aberdeen) were hardly massive success stories. He's also 76 and by all accounts enjoying being a Grandad. I think it's time to move in from the likes of Allardyce and Warnock.

No-one gave 'em a chance of staying up and of course, they didn't but nor did they disgrace themselves like Southampton are doing this year.
