  1. Suspect the £26m figure Duncan explains above has been conflated to “£26m tax bill” TBH
  2. If I was a UK director of a Venky’s/Rovers limited company I’d be reading the small print around insolvency legislation closely in case it meant I was at risk of becoming personally liable… https://helix-law.co.uk/directors-responsibility-company-debts/#

  4. Can’t help but think we are through the Looking Glass here. This is no way to run a village fete never mind a football club. Farcical isn't the word. I wonder just how welcome Crystal Palace cash will be now…
  5. Latest pod is a preview of Monday's game https://brfcs.com/magazine/podcasts/the-round-table-show-ian-herbert-chats-with-er...ian-herbert/44
  6. In this episode the '4000 Holes' Ian Herbert chats with the 'Daily Mail & Mail On Sunday' sports writer Ian Herbert about the respective fortunes of their two favoured teams ahead of the FA Cup 4th Round tie between Blackburn Rovers & Wrexham...or Bollywood v Hollywood if you prefer. Reminisce with us about Duncan McKenzie scoring the winner the last time Rovers managed to beat Wrexham & wander down an FA Cup memory lane as we recall Mickey Thomas & Steve Watkin seeing off the mighty Arsenal and much, much more. 7. A fan opinion piece written by our very own @J*B for your pleasure... https://www.brfcs.com/magazine/articles/what's-wrong-at-rovers/487 Hope you enjoy...😉
  8. As well as hats, we have a few scarves - also £10 plus P&P (for the UK that would be £5) or we can arrange collection at the QPR game at Ewood. The BRFCS logo at one end, 4000 Holes the other… Modelled here by our very own @rog of the rovers ⚪️🔵
  9. Be the same folks either way round the table...
  10. The Rovers equivalent of the Ineos Man Utd deal
  11. Depends on the corporate structure of the purchaser I guess.
  12. A potential buyer would pay perhaps a small premium over the net asset value for the club (£30-40m perhaps), fund the purchase of the existing or a new training ground (say £20m) plus prudently, say 2-3 years of working capital whilst things were put on a more even keel (£30-40m at least). Potential owners with access to £100m is probably the ball-park...
  13. I think it's on BBC iPlayer as well...
  14. We have a handful of these fabulous @4,000 Holes hats left in stock. Anyone who fancies one, reply to this post or PM me on here & I’ll contact you to sort out payment & delivery. The hats cost just £10, (postage & packing will be £5 for UK or we can arrange to hand over pre-game at Ewood to save money if that works for you 👍 Overseas postage also available on request).
