Wow please stay that way it would really knock the wind out of the nobbers sails
-
Cardiff and Millwall making sure they are right in the mix!
-
There wasn’t much pressure for us the last couple of weeks when others were slipping up If the results stay the same all of a sudden we need to win to stay in touch

Derby County (A) - Sunday 8th March [3pm KO]
Tom replied to a topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Millwall currently 3-0 up at Forest, I said recently they could be the one to pick up some steam and head towards the Plays offs -
Sounds like Wright Phillips playing well again, really hope theirs some potential to keep him Edit - Rich Sharpe has replied saying he thinks there is some scope there to keep him
-
But if it’s on tv that’s the two plum ties out of the 4 game offer on sky, much less attractive package for those that have sky

According to Tony “It was great that he scored today after the week he’s had," Mowbray told iFollow Rovers. Hope Gally has got over the scathing and heinous attack in the press

When lambert came here there was loads of articles saying he looked younger and thinner, he credited it to spending time out watching European clubs training. Was just a joke cause his face reminded me of that era Lambert

Would you sign Christian Walton
Tom replied to Prelude's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Something I like about young Waltz is he uses his height really well, very good at coming and claiming the ball on corners etc, much stronger than Raya in that department. -
That’s Paul Lambert with another new look after spending more time watching foreign coaches
-
Walton did some fantastic rolling around after the challenge, great agility on show
-
I think we’ll finish above Bristol and maybe Preston so we have a great chance, however I can see it being someone further down than us sneaking in, maybe Cardiff. Then again I have a holiday booked when it’s the play off final so I expect us to be there!
-
I am and I still don’t see it, if Preston win we can’t go above them next week?
-
I still don’t see how that guarantees us to be above Preston though
-
This is Rhian Brewster who wears his champions league medal in public, I don’t think he’s too grounded
-
And you went mad about the one against us for Brentford Swings and roundabouts, sure their manager wouldn’t have been overly impressed with Johnson’s elbow on their lad
-
We dived to get a penalty and Travis has been a master shithouse recently, everyone does it In fact recently we were asking for more Shithousery
-
In the mix is ‘in contention for’ If you were talking about who is likely to win Wimbledon this year you may say Djokovic is favourite but Nadal and Agassi are also in the mix (my tennis references are somewhat out dated) We are well and truly in the mix at the moment, you wouldn’t say only those currently in the play off spots are in the mix to be there come May
-
I like that he tries to make things happen he was just wasteful today, he’s another that’s better suited centrally though
-
Tin hat time, thought Rothwell was poor today, he shows willing by dropping deep and showing for the ball but his end product was miles off
-
Agree on Tosin he seemed to keep losing the ball under his feet
-
We can get there, but feel we’ll come up just short we throw too much away from winning positions
-
If we beat Brentford we were in the play off places so by default we were closer then! We were 3 points from the play offs before that game and still are Are we just discounting Preston now?
-
Ps Our penalty looked very similar to the one we conceded at Brentford - won by the striker rather than conceded by the defender Also thought Johnson could have seen red on another day for his elbow, their guy for sure should have been sent off early on Another standard championship ref

Ridiculous to say after all his wonder goals but Armstrong needs to look for a pass at times, you can’t score every time! Graham was awful today and Gallaghers miss late on could have been costly. As above Brereton deserves a run with Armstrong now be interesting to see if he gets a go. Travis looked in pain at the end which is worrying
