I always seem to forget Hedges is playing
-
Not got going here yet, great bench to call on at least
-
It’s more often than not a booking as soft as it seems its daft from Carter
-
Yep just spoke to my mums husband, a ‘bad win’ he said - not sure that exists Hope the luck runs out
-
Dingles win last minute, annoying habit they have of getting wins when you they aren’t playing well - sadly nailed on for the top 2
-
I am? Think it proved spot on, the manager stuck with him and the competition obviously spurred him on and it’s his shirt to lose. I think it will change once he has a bad game
-
Seems the competition has Pears on his toes today! Good management it would appear and Pears doing his bit
-
Brilliant from Dolan then a top finish
-
Pears starts, Cantwell on the bench. Feels like he’s waiting for a Pears clanger before changing it up, usually isn’t too long but for all our sakes hope not!

Shows how stats can be misleading. Somewhere in the first half Sky showed the bollocks xG of something like 0.3 for them (after their goal) but then it leaps to 0.8 at the end I can’t think of a single ‘big chance’ missed from them yet the Dolan and Travis ones come to mind for us, then again I can’t remember the 2 saves Pears made. Along with Baker having a half chance on his left foot I really think we created a lot more than they did second half but naturally a chunk of that was on the counter. Parker just seemed to lack any nouse on how to approach the game second half. For me I was quite content with it, would have much preferred the bragging rights back home but I’m not going to go OTT singing from the rooftops about it because they just aren’t that important to me. However it was a really solid point against a team fancied to win the league with us having 10 men for 40 minutes. edit - just remembered they hit the post on a corner first half so maybe that was the ‘big chance’
-
Not sure he got given the Dolan one as it deflected through to him; so technically 3 but more like 4 in practice https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/championship/top-scorers#TopAssists

Apart from not losing against ‘that lot’ it feels like a big moment in the season anyway. After the cup exit a meek performance and loss against any opposition going into the international break would have been tough after a good start. Showing resilience and fighting back sets us up nicely to build on. I think most of us would have been surprised with any more than 5 points or so before the break -
3 in the league that I am aware of but I didn’t see much about the cup games as I was away
-
He’s a bit of a live wire; I think most of us feared he’d pick up a red on Saturday and seems someone that may need coaching carefully but he’s been a bit of a revelation so far. All 3 assists have been a touch of class and vision and in a different world may have had another with Dolan in the second half on Saturday. Be amazed if he scores double figures this season but expect him to beat Gallagher, Ennis and Vale combined from last season
-
No chance on the former, he’ll land a prestigious role managing a club in Saudi Arabia or wherever will throw money at him! Useless
-
Harry Chapman now plying his trade in non league football I see

At least 2…. For a ref so keen on the rules why didn’t he book him for his celebration?

Can’t sleep and still annoyed at the ref. Another point given he’s obviously such a stickler for rules on when a yellow card should be given. How come he conveniently didn’t uphold the rules After Fosters goal celebration given according to the FA a player should be cautioned when: removing the shirt or covering the head with the shirt -
Tragic news. Loved it when he calmly arrowed in a penalty at old Trafford.

Hope Eustace gets the new keeper in after the international break. Pears just isn’t up to it, didn’t have much to do today but still managed to look dodgy, for the goal he was heading across his goal so it’s difficult but still a bit disappointing but then the shocking pass right down the middle and the random coming from his goal to claim a ball that was never his stood out. He then seemed scared to come for anything till late in the game where he had his one standout moment when he was decisive and came for a good punch. Both he and his opposite number got lucky today with errors -

His brother Karim we had on loan from City (I think it was City at least) -
Nice to see Duru now officially an academy graduate. Big call bringing him on today

Haaland is just unfair, he’s a cyborg made to score goals

Never mind the fact that many players (on both sides) throw themselves to the ground and feign injury to get people booked. The arbitrary line that’s drawn and pearl clutching over a pretend card is bizarre in honesty. -

Moment of stupidity and I’m sure he’ll learn, he’s been brilliant and was once again for our goal today
