  1. Positives sound like we now have the solid rationale to drop Pears; and at least the long journey home will be in comfort in the coach
  2. At this point 5-6 In the nets it’s an unknown quantity but seems a reasonable trade off, the issue is the assumption was we cashed in on TK to reinvest the money elsewhere which did materialise. Defence we are weaker in terms of depth and future potential but Hill may be decent for a year. Tronstad looks to be a squad player, solid and steady perhaps Moran and Sigurdson seem like sensible additions and the ones that could be difference makers and I am confident Ennis can chip in with a few goals, the lad from yesterday is an unknown and will be a bonus if he contributes. The first question is if they can replace the contribution from Dack and Diaz. The second is more important - can they improve on it as standing still isn’t progress! Ultimately it feels like a missed opportunity, £5-6m brought in for TK and Ash Phillips and only £1m or so spent
  3. Nsangou looks like a talent there, his movement with the ball on the last move in particular I can’t work out if the video is ever so slightly sped up or not
  4. I think his pass to Travis was the perfect weight. Trav’s legs just went as he’d busted a gut in the move. He similarly linked up play brilliantly for the Moran chance
  5. All the best to you and yours mate, goes without saying the thoughts of everyone here are with you
  6. Superb result, shove your xG up your bum! In reality apart from one superb block, one off the bar and a couple of decent saves from Pears we were never truly under the cosh Thankfully their new forward looked like a big lump Not many vintage performances but a classic away smash and grab
  7. Lucky it’s only 5 minutes Surprised people blaming Gally he made the right run the pass was just too slow Gally has helped swing this in our favour here
  8. Agenda - lol Decent save that you’d expect your keeper to make
  9. Sorry to say but Wharton has been abysmal on the ball, got us into trouble several times
  10. Huge slice of luck for Pears and us there but it stayed out that’s all that matters
  11. What a goal! Gallagher showing that he’s leaps and bounds ahead of youth strikers and then stunning from Hedges
  12. Get Moran off he’s been useless!
  13. We look moments away from a self inflicted goal, too many loose passes around the back
  14. Dolan is having an 8/10 in our own half but a 2/10 in theirs sadly
  15. Poor finish from Sammie then a decent stop from Pears, open game I can see a dodgy refereeing call at some point here
  16. I’m one to defend Dolan but first 10 minutes he can’t keep the ball (not alone in that mind)
  17. Gallagher in the squad, at least some old men have less clouds to shout at this pray with regards to his paternity leave!
  18. Shocking news this, absolutely devastating for his family and everyone who knew him
  19. Kaminski, Bell, Steele, Van Hecke and Ryan Giles all starting in the Luton Brighton game, sounds like Bell was slightly at fault for the opener
  20. Whilst Dolan needs to finish the majority of the blame has to be with the penalty taker
  21. Great draw that, can’t imagine we’ve faced them too many times
  22. Geography isn’t my strong point but I don’t think any of these teams come into the Northern section! Still split in the second round
  23. Whilst it doesn’t matter much I wish Buckley squared it for Ennis for the 4th 3 lovely finishes to be fair and sounds like Gilsenan really deserved his goal as well
  24. Four goals and through to the next round (let’s ignore the 3 conceded) a good evenings work Lee Hendrie says it’s great to see Bradley Dack back, back from what? He was around the team last season
