  1. The main point is, if Nyambe goes JRC steps in and, let's face it, the lad looks nothing like a footballer.
  2. Fair play to Khadra, his confidence looked shot to me but he never hid from the ball and got his reward. For all their talent, Rothwell and Buckley do go missing when the chips are down, I wouldn't have fancied us today with those 2 on the pitch for the duration.
  3. Johnson has been the best of the bunch with Dolan and Khadra lively although the latter looks like his confidence in front of goal is shot. We're pressing well in the last third but are too ponderous when we do win it back giving QPR time to get behind the ball. A chance has to go in soon but the worry is they will score first. Oh, and the lad Pickering has been appalling in that half.
  4. Have to admit, as I've got older I don't hurt as much after a defeat as I used to. However I live the game through my son and daughter who have had previous little from Rovers all of their supporting life unlike their Dad. It's bloody awful watching my 19 year old lad so gutted after a game. He's had his hopes raised for the first time in over a decade and he can see it all just fading away in front of him What a bloody shame.
  5. 5 games without a goal. You can't continue doing the same things over and over again with the same personnel and expect that to change.
  6. Buckley? Dominated? Right back at ya. Travis hasn't played badly but spends more time trying to get fouls and cards
  7. Sick of watching Travis go down like a sack of shite. Need more from Buckley as well, he should be our extra man now and has gone completely missing.
  8. We can get in the last third alright but our decision making when we're there is piss poor.
  9. Bit of a result to still be in this. Problem is we don't remotely look like scoring.
  10. I'd actually be amazed if Maxwell is in prison. I'm pretty sure her silence will have been bought in some way and with her family's ties to Mossad I don't think she can be got at.
  11. In slightly related news I see Epstein associate Jean Luc Brunel has been found hanging in his cell in France. CCTV cameras apparently not working at the time, hmmm. Obviously nothing to see here, no loose ends being tidied up by certain people with extensive power or anything.
  12. Like a lovely Spring day now, I find it hard to believe that surface isn't playable.
  13. "Buckley trying to bulldoze his way through" Words you never thought you'd hear.
  14. Credit to Brereton though, he's risen above the utter dogshit around him. Travis and Wharton have been slightly less shite but bloody hell this is dreadful fare.
  15. An unbelievably low quality game this. Why have we got players with so little fundamental ability? Poor first touch, passes astray, slow of mind and thought, poor movement, it's bloody awful. And in the lad Costello at WB we certainly have a player who can't stand up for falling down.
  16. The lad can play, no doubt about it but he is definitely a false 9. I only say that because a true number 9 would've buried that chance tonight.
  17. Last few weeks have served as a big dose of realism. Not freshening up the strikers is really going to hurt us I feel. Such a shame.
  18. Really struggling to see anything in this Rankin-Costello lad
  19. Need to play balls into feet into midfield rather than going back to front all the time
  20. Marcus Forss to Hull on loan? That's a big miss, he'd have been perfect here.
  21. Yes I've heard that. Another good un.
  22. Big shame on Rothwell leaving, one of our only game changers. However, if Todd Cantwell is available (which has been mooted on this thread) then chuck all the JR money at him, he's different class at this level.
  23. Great point that. Looking back on the last 2 games and 4 points is a good return
  24. Butterbean on for his movement up top
