  1. But at least we competed. This slow death costs 20 million a year and we never lay a glove on the top 6. Some of my best years following the Rovers in the mid to late 80s had us top 6 in a better quality 'second' division with a £90,000 record signing. I would take those days right now.
  2. The problem is, whichever way the season ticket sales go, it can be spun to suit the management. High sales is validation of the job he is doing. Low sales adds more weight to the small club theory Mowbray wants to peddle to lower expectations and fit in with his lack of ability. What a shit show.
  3. I'd take John Bond over Mowbray, and he's been dead for years.
  4. Says the bloke who continually posts about wanting a Director of Football system in place here.
  5. There should be a prize for that post. Bravo sir!!!
  6. Because that particular manager was a darn good one who brought success to the club. This one is, to coin a phrase, totally shite and has form for bringing similar poorly performing shite into the club previously.
  7. Must be great being a mate of Mowbray's. One day you're on your uppers, the next you're on easy street drawing a 6 figure salary accountable to no-one.
  8. And he doesn't look at the league table. What a guy.
  9. So, with less backing and a worse squad we are gunning for top 6. What world do you live in Chaddy?
  10. Don't forget the inexplicable 4 year deal handed out to the dummy Pears
  11. Better to save a few grand on wages and sign the dregs that's left on deadline day....
  12. Reach looks and plays like a pub player. Utter shite. He's a shoo in to be signed.
  13. I suppose they have improved the debt. Improved the chances of selling off the training ground? Improved the possibility of relegation next year by not sacking Mowbray. Improved TM's pension fund. He has a point to be fair.
  14. For a Chilean you have better English than the majority on here. Oh, and thanks for your insight by the way I enjoy reading your posts.
  15. I don't give a shiny shite who we buy while we have this pillock in charge
  16. Played decently and certainly worked hard. Wasn't helped by Chile dropping deep after 60 minutes and losing their ambition.
  17. The biggest compliment I can give him is he looks well at home in this company. Where did he get that first touch from?
  18. Absolutely brilliant!!!
  19. So here is the question. What is more likely, a new contract or him leaving before or at the end of this one. Hate to even imply it but I think the former.
  20. Expressing yourself through language that is contradictory? I'd say so but that is just me.
  21. DE was obviously making a light hearted joke at the expense of our shit manager. Maybe in your haste to defend all things Rovers related you did miss that.
  22. The height of irony, right there
