  1. Like the look of the gangly left back too. Apparently on loan from Fulham, looks awkward but he can play.
  2. Yeah it's all well and good crossing into an area but if there's no-one in that area there's no point. On this occasion Armstrong, as he was under no pressure, only needed to hold for another second for support to arrive but he blindly crossed anyway. The lad is a head down merchant.
  3. I work in Thornton Cleveleys with a few Fleetwood fans and they're all of the opinion that Bell was a poor left back but a good left wing back when he played for them. They were unanimous in saying he isn't good enough in either position for Championship level.
  4. This smells of someone safeguarding their university and pension fund.
  5. Why? It's hardly like all our injuries are going to clear up and TM discover some tactical nous in the next few days? Or are you expecting the Huddersfield squad to all get the clap before Saturday?
  6. I've no problem with people changing their minds Dave, God knows I've done it enough! It's just when one is so passionately pro Mowbray and quoted as being happy with the direction the team is going and suggesting he be allowed to build a play off side changes their mind to that effect on the strength of one game he watched on a stream it should be questioned. Especially when said person continually questions others.
  7. Never mind that, I've asked on 2 occasions about your flip flop in opinion on Mowbray - from wanting him to stay long term on the Thursday to him potentially being sacked on Saturday -and you've refused to answer. Hypocritical much?
  8. He was still spinning that line prior to the QPR game. He goes strangely quiet when this is pointed out though.
  9. No point getting Rhodes on loan as he is a penalty box player and we hardly ever get the ball in there.
  10. Michael O'Neill? He's getting a tune out of this bang average Northern Ireland team and can certainly organise a defence.
  11. It should never be forgotten that Coleman initially recommended his best mate Kean to Big Sam as a coach.
  12. Must be injured as he didn't even get on the bench for an appalling Blackpool team on Monday. I'm with you though, never a footballer for me.
  13. Exactly. The way the 'modern' midfield role has been divided up is utter nonsense these days. A good midfielder gets up and down the pitch, creates, scores, breaks up, tackles, defends. The rest is down to the understanding of the midfield partner to cover.
  14. No self respecting rovers fan calls Kean f@@king Stevie. Jog on lad.
  15. So your change is down to just the QPR game then? Quite a shift from Thursday when you said he should be given time to build a team for the playoffs and that you were happy with the direction he was taking us don't you think?
  16. Roy Keane. Because we need someone to crack a few heads in that dressing room. Sorry @DE.!!!!!
  17. Well I'm pleased we have keepMowbray so far and I see the where he wants to take the club and how. You highlighted Johnson has had time and built a squad you expect to make the playoffs so why cantMowbray been given the same? You posted this on Thursday this week. Have you any self awareness?
  18. I don't even think you need to go into that much detail. "Put pressure on them and they'll bottle it' would do.
  19. Now, this may be an unusually good post from you but only yesterday you said you were more than happy with Mowbray. How does a further 90 minutes football (that I'm assuming you didn't see) change that view?
  20. Said it before and I'll say it again, pace and power win games at this level. Mowbray slow sideways passive build up play in front of teams is just so easy to play against. Imagine being a centre half against us? No worry on anyone running past you. no-one as a physical threat, nobody running channels? What a piece of piss to defend. As I said during the awful run at the back end of last season, he has to go, we are now on a downhill slide that he will not be able to stop and it will inevitably lead to relegation this season or next.
  21. And the reason we scored that goal is because Rothwell's introduction meant they had to worry about another attacking threat and this , in turn, gave Dack more space. Will Mowbray pair the two of them again? He should but he won't.
