I'm hoping we practice some Coventry style corners before theis game to try and find some way of scoring. Those corners were excellent, ours in the main this season have been absolutely awful as well as most set plays.

The thought of any human being kicked on the floor for celebrating a goal is absolutely abhorrent. Bitterest rivals or not.

I cannot and will not question the effort and desire in that game, it was a million times better than the reverse fixture BUT we never actually landed a glove on them, whenever we had a great turn, or a quick clever pass you knew the play was going to fizzle out as we had absolutely zero forward threat. The manager had no real options to give us a forward threat, when Dolans job is to hassle and win the ball but have nobody to actually pass too you know you are screwed. When Thomas comes on and you know he wants to get the ball wide and whip it into the box to nobody you know we are screwed. Massive summer ahead with recruitment, a striker is absolutely desperate but I'd love to make a request for a dangerous set piece man.

Scott Wharton has a massive summer of graft ahead of him. The lad looks absolutely all over the place at the moment. Him coming on as sub currently means disaster.

I think Diaz needed dropping, the fact it is at the expense of not actually playing a striker sums up January!

Kaminski was not filling me any sort of confidence before he got injured, maybe the two are linked to be fair. This for me is damned if you do damned if you don't scenario. Play Kaminski and he drops a clanger, Pears should play and vice versa.

None of which gives me any reason to risk giving our owners the gun in their hand to pick a replacement.

You are clearly on the wind up, or have yet to see JDT is actually the biggest step up in quality of manager they have ever appointed. TM was average, JDT has actually worked wonders with the depth of squad ... we are due a stinker next!!

I'm kinda with you there, we didn't have a single postive substitution to make and pretty much every player who went off looked absolutely goosed. Every sub was bloody useless!

If anything summed up Breretons game it was the useless bastard managed to be offside from a free kick taken 6 yards from our goal line giving them chance to get the ball back into our half!!!!

Our only hope now is from somewhere our forwards find some sort of form. We have categorically proved we can't chase a game (spectacularly!), so the only hope we have is that our forwards can do something. Unfortunately I think they just look completely spent.

The ending to this season couldn't be more "Rovers" if we tried. We aren't bad, we aren't great either but my god we couldn't be more frustrating!! We weren't scoring that game no matter how long we played, the lack of cohesion was tough to watch. If I see Brereton (I refuse to call him Diaz now!!) run to the oppositions corner flag and push a bloke in the back again I think I will spontaneously combust, it is absolutely braindead.

Great comeback and a win by a few goals would not have been lucky. The goals conceded were so concerning but and its a big but we never stopped trying going forwards and I do praise that. JRC was outstanding!

With regards to the first goal Morton gets a touch onto the ball he doesn't need which changes its direction. Pears actually did OK to get any real block on it after changing direction so late.

Diaz may aswell be in Spain now, never thought I'd prefer Gallagher but you are testing me young Benjamin!
