  1. Buckley is looking like being out injured long term, as of yesterday.
  2. Yes, Leonard definitely one. Pretty sure the other was Garrett. I'm still fuming about Brittain now. Gives himself a nice rest whilst he team mates are exhausted, which is nice for him.
  3. Brittain hung his team mates out to dry. Absolutely shattered team mates already chasing shadows and does that to them. It was a hard watch, I was surprised to not see any fresh legs starting in a team that was dying come the 90th minute on Tuesday. 2-0 would have been a dream to be honest, 4-0 was right. Having the ball 30 yards from our goal and having no pass available forwards was just awful to view, no wonder Sammie was livid!
  4. We are kinda used to playing like this. Southampton abit like Burnley away last year must be thinking "are this lot trying to be this crap"!?!
  5. Brain dead. It's been an awful game for us then this. What is he thinking!
  6. I will never for the life of me know how a goalkeeper can be on the wrong side of the opponent off a corner. Jeeez!
  7. Good win, ropey performance, stomach in knots for the last 20 minutes, so how very Rovers. Tronstad, Leo and Siggy deserve lots of praise. As much as they seemed to turn it on from their goal, I think it was more of a case we fatigued at a greater rate than any other game this season. Which is completely understandable given the game time most of these players have had. One observation I had about the subs was the difference between Garrett and Trav, you would never have guessed which was the club captain and which was the lad finding his feet in the Pro game. Garrett was cool and confident on the ball and Trav was like a bull in a China shop with all that he did, he is so cumbersome!
  8. It's ultimately just another game were I come away with 2 opinions. The first and most relevant is those players are literally going above and beyond despite the way that the club is being run. Most clubs would not be able to take 8+ regular first team players unavailable but we are doing it with an already weak squad. Point 2 is my more critical one were I think ultimately we haven't landed a glove on them. Making allowances for point 1 it's harsh, but it's another team that has come to Ewood and not really had to kill themselves to leave with the 3 points. It hurts losing at home.
  9. Waggott is simply an employee of Venkys Ltd, not BRFC. Any CEO that backed themselves, during this latest (of many) sagas involving the Indian Government should be advising the owners that now was the time to knock this money hemorrhaging venture on the head and slope off and sell. That would be the turkey voting for Christmas though, wouldn't it!
  10. The "expert pundits" never ever seemed to workout he literally had Burnley working on a similar financial disparity as Wrexham were last season. No tactical answers whatsoever this season.
  11. Thanks to all who have taken the time to speak to the CEO and report back to us. I dare say most other clubs have local reporters for newspapers who do the same but we don't seem to be so lucky!
  12. Gallagher is one of those players, that I can't work out whether he is always injured or I just imagine it.
  13. Agreed, Leonard and to a certain extent Telalovic are exactly where they need/should be. Our lack of cash and forwards shouldn't be heaped on them.
  14. There honestly can't be many teams like us, to look absolutely excellent and absolutely awful in large patches of the same game is bizarre. I don't believe fans of other clubs go through the wringer like we do. Great win!
  15. These last 10 minutes have summed up why we have become an away team. When we have to force a game and work being pressed we look clueless.
  16. For me that's what killed us against Preston, we didn't play badly we just ran out of players of quality when the subs came on.
  17. Fair play to the club, we've been desperate to stop players walking away for bugger all. Long may it continue! Great news all around.
  18. Superb Rovers! I love that we put them to the sword at the end after that has happened to us so many times. Even nicer that the Dingles and Nobbers had it done to them too!!!!
  19. Must admit, I was rather puzzled by that too!
  20. Very fair assessment, losing last minute in a derby hurts, but we didn't play badly and the non existent striker came back to smack us in the mush yet again. I thought the build up play and short link up passing was some of the best I've seen this season and allowed us to break through their defence but alas again if we have no striker to aim for we are screwed.
  21. We simply ran out of players in the end, we had to make changes due to fatigue and simply had nobody to bring on to solidify us. From the corner until the goal we had no shape whatsoever which is poor, but other than that I think we have had a right kick in the nuts there.
  22. Wahlstedt's job now is to get that big red cross off his back. He will be singled out as a weak link at the back, opposition managers deserve sacking if they don't promote crosses 8-10 yards from the goal line and tell their players to follow in shots. He needs a few games mistake free, to calm the pressure and build confidence, the acid test is whether he can. It wouldn't be the first time opposing managers play to our goalkeeping weaknesses, teams started to drop the ball between and Pears and the centre halves quite often to watch the carnage unfold!
  23. Hill is outstanding. He should be Premier League next season for somebody.
  24. To pick between Pears and Wahlstedt as first choice jeeeez.
  25. We just need to switch on here. We are giving them too much time and space. They are very poor.
