Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

To be fair, from what I see, the players and manager agree with this! -

1000 good people spent their hard earned money today to support this football club. They got slapped in the face. Absent owners. Woeful senior management structure. A manager that seems to have no idea. A group of players that have an alarming inability to recover from going 1 down ... this happened with the first shot. This is just an ongoing nightmare that shows no sign of getting better, fans will disappear forever at this rate. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
cesus replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I always found Andy Cryer to be an asset with regards to speaking to national outlets. The LT have even more of a grievance now as the powers that be completely ignore them .... It is your chance to shine Mr Jackson. -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach
cesus replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It is a year on year situation of "surely not". This year takes some beating to be fair from an outside of Ewood point of view. Manager leaves to relegation ravaged side, new manager comes in with 12 to go in a good position, rights off the season a few weeks later. Yet, nobody is surprised in any way, shape or form. I'm sure fans of other clubs think we make up what goes on here. -
Essentially the club built the function room without the correct consent. I think Holt and other people at the club thought a retrospective planning application would sail through when the local council saw what a good setup they had developed. Local people have an acceptance of living near to a football ground and the noise, parking etc that comes with that. From what I gather they have a massive problem with the ground becoming a pub/ function suite all weekend and the noise and problems the night time economy brings.

Players not being paid
cesus replied to Tugayslongwalkoff's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Players not getting paid and HMRC not being paid are about the only things that raise an eye brow of the authorities. If there is any truth, which I doubt as Venkys do enough to prevent that, word would be out officially quickly. -

There is mismanagement taking place at this club at board level that will have generational affects on fans support. People will walk away, people will find other things to do on a Saturday. Fuck you Suhail and Waggott and most importantly Venkys!!! -

I've given up listening to interviews to be honest, they are simply a contractual obligation. There can't be many players that are happy here to be honest, I can't blame then when the club is literally not even speaking to players about their future contracts. -

Every part of me thinks you are right, but this is Rovers and it so Rovers like to win it. Disclaimer - Obviously if they score first we are completely screwed. -

We know Rovers, we win this one. We then spend all of the international break getting soundbites of play off aspirations and lose pitifully for the next few games. We've been here so many times, then the self sabotage kicks in. -

Agreed, teams coming up from League One are all about survival, they have no issue with going route one and roughing up centre backs and SUSPECT GOALKEEPERS!! Therein lies our achilles heal. -

Agreed, but Brad was a once in a generation keeper. I'm so far done with Venkys I don't expect anything like that quality, but I also don't expect a coward in goal, and unfortunately Pears is that. -

I can live with debating whether a keeper should or shouldn't have done better with shot stopping, most fans will be either side of the coin. Pears kills me because he is as soft as they come. -

The dismissive in me says we've been today's team for years, bullied, not up for a fight, beaten by a nothing team. The realist in me says this team has nothing tangible to work for, they are reliant on Steve Fucking Waggott to get anything sorted, I can't say anymore than that. -

From his social media post tonight stating he is getting surgery to be fit for pre season says he won't be here next season. The joys of short term contracts is players need to look after themselves. -
I'm 100% with you on this, there is some absolute dross in the Premier League (most of them are at United) and I have always thought that surely there are better and cheaper options in the Championship!
-
I don't think masses actually gets out to the press from this club. I'd say unleaded on here comes up with way more accurate, earlier news than anybody in the press. JDT and Eustace all came without many press reports. There is a decent chance it is nobody mentioned on here due to most info coming from that arsehole Nixon. I'll give any manager a chance, my frustration is how slow it is due to what a good chance we have this season.
-
We quite simply needed to get a high quality (expensive) short term manager in. Trying his best to get the club into the play offs. We couldn't afford to let this chance slip, we have. Next season we will be back to being a relegation favourite and needing to completely rebuild the team, that is 2 different managers.
-
I would genuinely be intrigued where he goes. If I remember rightly Nyambe didn't actually get a club until the next season started.
-
If he goes, I hope for his sake he has a better agent than Ryan Nyambe had! Dolan will leave with a similar amount of appearances as Nyambe did, probably a more recognised name in the league though.
-
Players being frozen out happens up and down the country, I'm all for Rovers leadership bashing but in Sigurdsson's case I have no issues at all. If anything I'd say he has hardballed (which he is more than entitled to do) us by sitting out January and highly likely left yesterday with a better deal than he was offered in a January for a contract termination. The lads body simply wasn't up to the pace and physicality of the Championship.

I'm happy for Forshaw. He is regarded as a solid pro in the game and it must be pretty humiliating to be told you can go away by a club in the relegation places ... he looked to enjoy the goal! -
Me too, I'm saying they will be very much expecting him to keep them up.
-
I can't say I know much about Derbys finances, but if they are paying half a million in compensation I'd say they are banking on getting Championship revenue not League One revenue next season.
