  1. We put up with all the shit because we are fans. Eustace is a paid professional , and I would likely have done exactly the same in his position. He’s done as good a job as possible in the circumstances. Focus on the real enemy.
  2. Largely agree, but Suhail and Waggott are just symptoms of the root cause of all our problems, the owners.
  3. Eustace has a release clause in his contract. A club has agreed to pay the requisite fee. Eustace has decided that said club is a better bet in the long term. We all know why. Contracts being allowed to run down and desperate signings in the Window no doubt the final straw.
  4. Agreed. Rovers agreed to inserting a buy out clause in his contract. Eustace’s agent was very wise to have that included . No half decent manager will stay at Rovers for long. Managers will come with good intentions, and then realise what they are up against.
  5. Yes, I’m afraid these people are real, and not all Burnley fans on the wind - up. I can’t relate to them at all. It’s infuriating and exasperating they are so thick. That said, the situation isn’t their fault. Everything leads to the owners’ door.
  6. Already been mentioned. The guy is an ignorant cock.
  7. It's like when someone leaves any job. They will come up with a reason for mass consumption, and which is politically sensitive, but those closer to the person would know the real reasons.
  8. Agreed, this is like the Sky pundits slaughtering us during the Kean era. Jordan knows absolutely nothing about the situation at Rovers, unlike Henry Winter, who is passing informed comment. Your average TalkShite listener will be happy to run with the myth.
  9. May I suggest a large male 'member' as part of the mask, so no-one thinks we are his fan club 😉
  10. History is repeating itself. The fact that Eustace has got us into this position without Szmodics and Wharton says much about his quality, and that of his assistants. In a way I think he's doing us a favour by leaving now, and going to a club at the other end of the table. The more sensible, well informed journalists, such as Henry Winter, are now highlighting the ownership again. It's also opened more eyes of SOME of our remaining supporters. The others are clearly beyond hope.
  11. Agreed, I thought at the time that losing Park (again!) was a serious blow.
  12. Another good manager could've kept us up, yes, but he wasn't given the credit due, in my opinion. We were in freefall when he took over and looked a relegation team all over. Sheffield Wednesday are also fortunate to have a very good manager,
  13. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever get to that point, (I mean, if they don’t get it now! ). What I’m expecting to see is, unfortunately, a lot of the arguing and infighting we are seeing in the media transferring to the stadium on Saturday.
  14. I think he would’ve been doing well to have our head above the relegation zone waters. Last season, most of us on here were sure we’d go down this season, even if we survived last. He hasn’t had Szmodics this season, and you could hardly say he was well backed to replace him in the Summer. Had we appointed a less competent head coach, we’d now be languishing at the foot of the table. Even then , we wouldn’t really be blaming said head coach. Anything could happen now, but with so many contracts running down, and loanees, a further descent is a likely outcome. Thanks to Eustace and his assistants, we won’t be sweating on the last day of the season.
  15. He’s as good as gone. Rovers have made it impossible for him to return.
  16. No chance. The club statement effectively told him to F off.
  17. Who the hell are you? The c word? Do you live in a monastery or something? “Cretin” is not the “C” word. In any case, I think it’s the first time I’ve used it on here. I’ve followed the club since the late 70’s. Now jog on, you obvious club plant.
  18. I’m sorry but I despair at some of the cretins who support the club. They really are thick. I can understand people in the media not really getting it and taking the club’s side, but if you follow the club, and have a brain, you cannot blame Eustace at all.
  19. What with the clown on Talkshite and the official club statement, the living dead are lapping it up and blaming Eustace. God, it’s infuriating! 😡
  20. I think it’s more a case of trying desperately to believe in the establishment, despite all the damning evidence. I think he tries to convince himself, and probably doesn’t succeed.
  21. When googling Sutton Coldfield , the distance to Derby comes up as one of the top search results 😂
  22. I’ll just nip down to Currys 😉 If folk have his email address, drop him a line. He’s @PashaSapss on X. Ire in the stadium needs to be directed at him, more so than at Waggott.
  23. JDT was dissing Waggott for months in his interviews, and there were nil repercussions for him. As soon as he dissed Suhail he was gone. The idea of an advert in the Indian press has been looked into before, and I’m sure those who tried it said the media organisations would not entertain it for legal reasons. Suhail is the nearest thing we have.
  24. Hence Suhail needs to feel the heat , more so than Waggott. Waggott is a lightning conductor.
  25. Agreed, I'm afraid the majority in our ever decreasing attendances are of this mindset.
