  1. Under two weeks before season starts. Next week should be busy. Just 3 more and I think we can compete.
  2. Marc Guiu on loan from Chelsea would be a brilliant signing. We need more goals in the squad. Right Winger, absolute must. All quiet on the Al-Sahafri fella? Were interested in Gassama. Baradji deal on hold, believe he can play anywhere in midfield. If that is off, then then we should get Harrison Armstrong on loan from Everton. So gimmie 3 more. Striker, Right Winger and Centre Midfielder.
  3. Toothless bizarre move asking one of the Elche fans too ref the game.
  4. When can we stop calling Kargbo raw? Bloody brllliant is what he is.
  5. Ribiero is comfortably better than Pickering who was flatter than usual today, and a bit hesitant. I donโ€™t get people calling Kargbo raw, absolutely fantastic player. Live wire. Have to start him, and get another outlet on the right. Tronstad Travis and Cantwell as good a three as you find in the league. Young boys did great today! Tyjon dropped a few shoulders, and looked class. Milarky was impressive too. Beto was taking the piss out of Hyam first half. But we wonโ€™t see many betos in the championship Feel a lot better after that.
  6. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ got a pope like reception
  7. McLaughlin, Al Sahafri and the baradji bloke if the medical works out, plus a premier league striker loan. Not a million miles away.
  8. Hahahaha yeah sureโ€ฆyou mean you got it wrong.
  9. Good news if true. Rovers channel? Think Tyjon will make the leap now. Starting today.
  10. Maybe, again thatโ€™s speculation, you donโ€™t know if he laughed off our contract offers. 3m for a RB with 12 months on his contract, sell. I am much more worried about CB and RW.
  11. You just donโ€™t know that. I am more excited about the Abeylusiu(sp) kid, but Drameh is a quality back up. remember when he played against us at Ewood this year, Hull ripped us too shreds, should have been 3 or 4. We were flying too at that point. After the BBD copa america/international superstar farce, losing him for free, I donโ€™t give a f**k, sell before you lose for free and reinvest. I am ruthless with players, like for example I never want see the word Dolan in this thread again. Done gone forget about it.
  12. I too, am fine with Drameh, good player and if he is half the price of Brittain, with Aleyiusu thatโ€™s fine.
  13. Canโ€™t think of any slower professional FB Iโ€™ve ever seen. Good on the ball though. Impressed, we have spent more than I guessed going into the first preseason game. The Baradj guy looks like a new cult hero type, absolute Nzonzi unit. Looks like he can play too. Would imagine Buckley out the door next, would be a very good league 1, CM orchestrator. Al Saharfi RW Loan with Option Kaupedi CB Buy Marc Guiu ST Loan from Chelsea Sell Buckley/Garett I would be happy with that, would consider that to be a stronger squad than what we had 12months ago.
  14. Surely we need a RW not a LW, I know they are some what interchangeable but De Neve, Kargbo and Hedges for the left
  15. We have been slavering over center midfielders all summer, so I assume Tronstad has said he isnโ€™t signing a new contract and there is interest, and probably a while ago. i donโ€™t want to spend the whole summer in a CM tit for tat. We need a RW and CB asap. Probably a striker too, although have a funny feeling Tyjon will be getting a proper go in preseason. Get bloody on with it.
  16. I never had a problem with Greg Broughton. Thought he did well enough.
  17. All 6โ€8 of himโ€ฆNโ€™Zonzi eat your heart out Jade Jones would be decent, can he play Right Wing?
  18. Yeah heโ€ll do. Like a foreign harry chapman.
  19. Harsh as a fellow exile you should be a little more forgiving. Does his best and is a massive rovers fan.
  20. Hedges is a fine enough squad player probably on a low wage. We will be wanting warm bodies by the time opening day comes.
  21. Was absolutely steaming pish until mid March. Iโ€™m not having it. Will sign for a โ€œbigger clubโ€ and will never be seen again, same as usual. Replaceable in my opinion, would have been nice to get some money for him, but I didnโ€™t see any uproar until recently about him not getting a new contract. Good lad, tries hard, wish him well.
  22. Well here we are, as close as we have ever been to getting back to where we belong. Not sure how we have managed, so many ups and downs. Got a solid punchers chance, and to be honest the squad looks confident and doing well right now. Give our best go and see what happens. We have two players who I believe can be the difference, Cantwell and Kargbo on Sunday. Cantwell starting to look like the premier league player he was touted to be, and Kargbo has the speed that is utterly void in the team. Could have been a better away fixture, they beat the shit out of us at Ewood in the first game. But they have nothing to play for. My bet: Millwall losing at Burnley coventry drawing with Boro Bristol beating Preston - (although they were embarrassing tonight at Leeds) We win 2-1, and have too play them again in a week.
  23. Lenihan thought he was better than he was, way too rash and couldnโ€™t pass to save his life. Nyambe was a bit younger and athletic, and should have been retained. Amari Bell too went on too play a lot of games for Luton including a chink in the PL. We have previous here Dolan will be away and thatโ€™s fine, can be replaced with a big faster player on the right. Done well recently but far too many 4/10s throughout the season.
  24. The easiest and most obvious thing to do next VI is get rid of that absolute clown in goals. Seriously. Just a walking disaster. JRC and Hedges too, they have been woeful. Stumbled upon 4-4-2 tonight with Ohashi dropping off Gueye. It worked.
