Away fans staying at home in ticket row.Some fans from clubs are not willing to stump up what they consider to be extortianate prices, sometimes for poor views.
Premier clubs are supposed to provide 3,000 seats or 10% of capacity,whichever is lower.However,although home clubs used to make the seats available on a sale-or-return basis.Now, however, clubs are basically giving 1,500 seats on a sale-or-return basis and any figure above that has to be prepaid.So if they are not sold, the away club has to face a loss.
