  1. Or Chile were desperate and played him before he was ready. Any player is going to want to play in the circumstances It's a tough one we do need him asap but if he isn't to start personally I wouldn't be too harsh on Mowbray as the guy has been out for weeks, Chile didn't think him fit enough for the Brazil match and has had a lot of travelling, sportsman or not it affects you.
  2. He had to go to Chile we had no choice in the matter refusal would have led to a ban for Brererton anyway and he wouldn't have been available to start tomorrow
  3. No I think Rothwells attributes are better suited to playing further forward, but the player himself thinks himself as an 8 and wants to play further back. Up until last/this season the majority of his appearances where further forward and his stats in terms of goals and assists and end product in general are worse than they are playing further back . 7 assists isn't that impressive but he got less than half that over a full season playing further forward.
  4. It's more impressive than when he was playing further forward. He didn't score or assist when playing up there. Like I said his attributes should lend themselves to playing further forward but Rothwell see's himself as an 8 and wants to be playing in the centre of the park
  5. Rothwell has played alongside Travis all season. His attributes should lend to playing further forward and although he has been poor since December, he was having his most productive season in terms of assists and goals playing further back. Previous seasons when playing further forward his end end product was nearly non existent
  6. It's a farce we are in this situation but the owners must have some interest in what has been going on this season or Rothwell would have been sold like the manager wanted
  7. Don't know if mentioned elsewhere and know he isn't an academy graduate but Dolan scored off the bench in a 3-0 win for England under-20
  8. 7 day free trial with that Sundance only the 8 episodes so dependant on if you have the time to finish it in a week.Agree it's a joke how many there are now I only pay for Netflix and the sky for the matches the rest I get online or streaming app
  9. It's very good.Has got better with each series. The fella who plays the lead is a young British guy he is very good in it Another very good gangland drama I watched recently is Kin I think it has just been released on prime or one of the channels affiliated with it.Its an Irish series
  10. No mate getting it elsewhere.Wont be on iPlayer to all episodes are finished in the states which are weekly released.Prob another 6-10 weeks before on bbc
  11. Was the best one yet I thought. I'm 4 episodes in to the new season of Snowfall , quality yet again
  12. Hopefully the club have realised this now and going forward we will start protecting our assets. Travis,Buckley, Carter and Wharton have all signed longer term deals in the last 12 month
  13. Lenihen withdrawn from Ireland squad torn groin
  14. Obafemi with another brace for Swansea
  15. QPR and Sheff United still have to play against eachother twice. We only have to play Bournemouth all the other teams in the mix play against other play off contenders. On paper by far we have the easiest run in
  16. Wonder if Rothwell will be false 9
  17. You don't know what Venkys will do this summer. You would have said not a chance we pay 7 million for a forward prior to Brererton signing. Taps are turned off then back on again as is evident throughout their reign
  18. The telegraph have been wrong plenty of times. Answer this why would Stoke get a straight up loan deal but we would have to buy him in the summer. The telegraph and Sharpe understanding is proof of nothing. Shall I post the quotes from Mowbray where he said he didn't want a striker????? And apologies you are right I shouldn't be calling you a liar as you obviously believe what you are saying which is fair enough but mate it was Sharpe's understand that Dilan Markanday was coming in on a loan deal 2 days later it was permanent deal.
  19. I'm just following the logic.Stoke got him on loan and are under absolutely no obligation to buy. He failed a medical in January.
  20. Gav why do you keep saying this about Maja when it isn't true? He went to Stoke on loan, no obligation to buy.No 3 million fee agreed. It would not have taken 3 million to bring Maja here in January.Mowbray had moved on from him In the summer Maja failed a medical again it had nothing to do with money Not being rude but do you think if you keep saying it it will be true?
  21. His contract situation is comparable with Nyambe as it has been said on here that the club won't reward players who came through the ranks competitive contracts in line with the senior pros. As an ever present and vice captain you would have to think that Travis got a significant pay rise to commit to another 4 years
