  1. And the other players have been in terrific form I suppose? Iv seen a lack of quality in Moran and most others in the team over the last 6 weeks but I haven't witnessed this lack of effort with Moran that you are speaking of
  2. Zero threat? He leads our assist charts with 8. He has had a poor 6 weeks, as have a number of other players. It's also his first season playing senior football.
  3. I don't believe everything the club says either. What I do know is no way Travis would be happy with the situation he found himself in and sometimes it's better to part as a chance it disrupts the squad JDT was visibly disappointed with the Buckley loan and said as much , I didn't get that vibe from him over Travis in that BBC lancs interview. We obviously need to offload to bring players in and maybe we would have sold him if we had a suitable offer
  4. You keep him around even though he has asked to leave twice and keeps saying to the manager he wants to play as a 6? Iv no doubt that finance played a part but at the same time I can't think of many players going into their prime who are club captain, used to playing every week but then benched and stay at that club .He hasn't started a game in midfield since October
  5. He has already proven himself at this level with Fulham
  6. Carvalho from Liverpool to hull on loan , good signing
  7. Mowbray named Birmingham manager.2 and a half year contract
  8. I don't know why Broughton and Waggott are being labelled the same Broughton strikes me as an intelligent enough guy and ambitious.Worked with Norwich at an underage level and in a recruitment role, went abroad to Glint , did all his badges and then onto here. We are Waggotts retirement fund, it does no favours for Broughton bringing poor players here and having buttons to spend , unless his sole ambition is to be Dof of a Venky owned Rovers for the rest of his career
  9. Beale being heavily linked with Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham
  10. Like who?If they were any good they would have other clubs after them who in all probability could trump us on wages. Broughton has a tough job here and under the circumstances is doing a decent enough job. As said previously Szmodic,Tronstad and Hyam all signed under his watch and 3 of our most important players, add Brittain and Sigurrdson that's 5 players he has added to the first 11 since his arrival
  11. So you aknowledge we have a small budget. Who are these experienced Championship players we can sign with our little budget? When he had money to spend he signed off on Hyam,Brittain and Szmodic.
  12. They were still signed under his watch. Just because they were on a list we don't know if the previous lot would have followed through with signing them. He can count Brittain, Hyam, Szmodic and Tronstad as successes.Sigurrdsson getting there but another goalscoring threat that didn't cost us a transfer fee. The black mark is the goalkeeper. He had no budget for a striker . His loan record hit n miss but that's like every single other championship club they all ravage the loan market, some work out and others don't
  13. Who are these experienced DOFs that would come here with the budget that Broughton has? Similarly who are these players performing and scoring goals at championship level that cost similar to Telalovic and Ennis? At the end of the day Szmodic put pen to paper under Broughtons watch. The core of our side all signed under his watch ,Hyam, Tronstad and Szmodic There are hardly any goalscoring centre forwards in the championship right now, a look through the top scorer list there is only a couple in the top 10
  14. Like I said know little of the player just mentioning what JDT said when Bayes asked him in that BBC radio lancs video interview that was on twitter the other day. In Ayaris interview he was asked which position he would favour and he said an 8 but is happy anywhere in the midfield Just logical to believe after what they said when he does get minutes it will most likely be in one of those positions and if they see him as that then if Garrett goes out on loan then only one will come in.If truth to this Garrett story Ayari maybe his replacement in JDTs opinion and another to be added to replace Travis
  15. In that interview with JDT he said Ayari can play 6, 8 or 10 in our system so presumably that where he will be playing .I know little of the player so I'm not judging if that is a correct decision but with JDT saying that along with other things about him and Brighton saying yes and the player coming here whatever was said must have left them both confident he will see playing time ,and if that's the case less time for Garrett ,only 1 other if any would come in if that happened tho if that's where Ayari is gonna be seeing playing time
  16. Yeah but to be fair the other players we sent where just shit players ,Garrett and to a slightly lesser extent Leonard haven't looked like fishes out of water when they have seen minutes for us , and you could see something in Carter and S Wharton when they had played for us unlike some of the other lads we have sent out. Someone said on here about Garrett to Stockport on loan.It needs to be a league one loan
  17. If they are letting Garrett out then surely someone else will becoming in. Id agree with those that believe Garrett is ready to play a part and if he isn't replaced then it would be a stupid transfer but at the same time he hasn't seen that many minutes in the league so far so thinking longer term a loan might be beneficial for us if it is to league one and he plays every week. It benefitted us with Carter he came back a better player
  18. In that JDT interview with BBC lancs he said ideally 2 center backs will be brought in this window. Although I agree a new keeper is definitely needed I don't see that happening.
  19. I doubt that is it.Leonard would be better off playing week in week out,not the 20 minutes here and there he gets here. Plenty of potential but needs to get used to scoring goals under a different pressure with a crowd watching as finishing wasn't a problem for him coming through the ranks but has missed quite a few decent chances for us already this season.
  20. Agreed , it like people have forgotten he led us to our best finish in the table since relegation last season and for parts of this season sat in the top 10 and not far away from the playoffs at all.Even though we finished 7th in the championship last season his tactics will never work in this league apparently Even weirder the most critical toward JDT are the ones who say our squad is shit and predicted relegation/relegation battle before the season started. Even have posters now saying he can't complain about the lack of experience as he gave the ok for Travis moving out, disregarding Travis asked to leave and he isn't as good as A Wharton and Tronstad.
  21. He didn't project that narrative when it came to Buckley. It's pretty obvious Travis wouldn't have been happy not playing ffs
  22. If we were in the bottom 3 by the 16th of march looking at the fixtures. I just don't think we will get dragged into it despite the horrible run recently we had won 6 in 8 pre this horrible run .When we get the players back and hopefully a signing or two that contribute then be mid table. I think it's a real shame JRC and Dolan picked up the injuries when they did.Dolan can be shocking at times but when he does hit a bit of form we and he was playing as the 9 we looked a better side for it Il be honest last couple of games I thought Telalovic looked neat and tidy ,if he could get into more dangerous positions he might be decent second half of season and Sigurrdson hopefully can notch a few more,Gally isn't great but stats say we win more when he plays Although I agree JDT could be more flexible tactically and he needs to be a bit more defensive some games his tactics have been let down by shocking finishing and not burying teams when creating enough chances to win 5 matches , certainly earlier in the season.
  23. But if the manager does want him away then surely it's normal to allow him to do that? Now I'm not saying you have to agree with JDT ,nor that I even do but surely as manager if he does want to move a player on then he should be allowed to do that? Look I do like Travis but if he is asking and begging for a move away and saying to JDT he wants to be a six then I think we move on.Its a loan see what happens come summer ,if you are in the worried about going down camp then I can understand why the Travis loss would be more impactful on you than me See I don't think we will be in any bother of going down with the players returning and JDT has enough credit in the bank with me after our 7th place finish and parts of this season and I feel our form will turn .That's not to say I agree with everything he does . Kaminski should have come back in last season and Travis could have been used more from the bench or even starting right side in a midfield 3 along with Tronstad and Wharton with Szmodic as a false 9
  24. My point is Travis has gone to the manager and asked to leave twice. He has told the manager he wants to play in a 6 he is unhappy and we obviously need his wage to bring other players in Now experience is great but Travis has gone from captain and playing every week to being 3rd or 4th choice and not starting matches, his pride will have taken a massive hit and I'm one of those people who believes if you have an unhappy player then you move on and with the fact we have been left high and dry by the owners we have to wheel and deal,i agree experience is needed but young loans can work out too and potentially Travis wage could bring in a few
