  1. He isn't just safe he makes forward passes.I don't care if it was against Wycombe in 22 minutes he created 5 chances. Yesterday he played a lovely ball into the back post only for Gallagher and Nyambe to make a muddle of it. He is the main man for Rovers in the under 23s.Mols who you rave about was on the bench for the under 23 other on Friday despite Buckley and Davenport not being involved
  2. I'm not getting personal with you sorry if it appeared that way,I just think you are completely wrong with your opinion of Buckley. For me his class is evident and I believe he will be a top player.I don't agree with your opinion that he should be sent to the conference to "toughen up" getting kicked up and down the field would do nothing to aid the development of a player of Buckley's type.
  3. He played a lovely ball to the back post that both Gallagher and Nyambe got in a muddle over and played another couple of very nice forward passes. I think you are completely wrong with Buckley and if you can't see the potential he has then I'd question if you know much about the game. Guarantee he will not play the majority of his career at league one level.
  4. Got on the ball and tried to make things happen .Every game he is showing improvement and trying to get more involved. You wanted to send him to the conference If I'm not mistaken? Buckley has a big future and will be a premier League player imo A chance was put on a plate for Gallagher, he should have put that in the back of the net and if he does we win the game
  5. Yeah before the Ayala links came about. I would have been happy with Kipre don't get me wrong but as of right now in my opinion Ayala is the better defender of the two. Of course Kipre has age on his side and could develop into a better player than Ayala and certainly has more re-sale value than Ayala but as it stands for me Ayala is the better player currently
  6. Fairly confident with Kipre considering he has played two season at championship level never any higher at 23. I think Kipre is decent at this level but if given the choice between signing him or Ayala I would choose Ayala all day long.
  7. Ayala has been one of the bettee defenders in the championship throughout his time playing in it. To date has far more appearances in the premier league compared to Kipre too
  8. Kipre not in the West brom squad again
  9. I'm not saying we will sign him but just because Sharpe and Crooke dismiss a link doesn't mean it won't happen. There is only so much the club tells them. Pretty sure they were both rather dismissive when fans suggested Ayala as a potential target earlier in the window,I wouldn't have expected the club to be able to afford him either
  10. Their tactics might not be unique but they are more suited to playing those sort of tactics than most in this division and better at it. It's one game out of four that we have failed to create chances,46 shots at goal in the two games prior to this and we scored twice and had a few other good chances in the defeat at Bournemouth. I do think the conditions favoured Cardiff's tactics heavily and we got into promising positions only for our final ball to let us down and in fairness even if Gallagher is poor if that chance falls to him a 100 times he will score a lot more than is missed.I do think as the season progresses Mowbray will find a place for Buckley when teams are sitting back against us 2 points a game over the course of the season would see us promoted and our start is a point short on that , its dissapointing of course we couldn't get the 3 points today but plenty to be pleased about, the defence keeping clean sheets being one of them
  11. If Sam Gallagher doesn't miss from 2 yards out we would have had 3 points. The conditions were also terrible today and in seasons gone past we would have got beat. It's been a decent start to the season we would have taken 7 points from the last 3 games,2 points per game should be the target and we are just off it,a mixture of poor conditions, their tactics and not being clinical when our chances came about meant we only came away with a point but I do believe it's the sort of game we would have lost last season.
  12. Brentford can't go ahead of us even with a win unless they win by 7
  13. Gallagher missed a sitter when they were down to 10 men
  14. Just off 2 points a game.We have had a little bit better than average start if we take into account 3 clean sheets in a row and the fact we were extremely unlucky to not get anything at Bournemouth.
  15. Mowbray has said before he doesn't like two left footers at centre half,if it had been Williams out then he probably would have gone for Wharton. We will just have to hope that it isn't too soon for Ayala, be a disaster if he got injured today through not being fully fit in first place
  16. Brewster a different type of player to Jota and Jota further along in his development.Jota can play all across the front 3 where as Brewster a Centre forward. The debate isn't wether Jota is a better player than Brewster anyway,I just don't agree with your belief that Brewster gonna be nothing more than a journey man
  17. Well the best manager in the world saw fit to insist on a buy back clause before agreeing to sell him that's good enough for me to suggest he will have far better career than being a journey man
  18. Brewster isn't worth 23 million yet but will be he is quality.Liverpool have insisted on a buy back clause, shows they rate him .Scored 11 goals in 22 matches In his debut season for Swansea in this division. Not sure if you have seen him play much to describe him as a journeyman in waiting? He will play for England
  19. Charlie Austin in talks with Derby. Jota is now a free agent after his contract was mutually terminated at Villa
  20. Why did Brentford leave out Raya then? They said his head wasn't right after interest from Arsenal. Sam Johnstone came from United reserves
  21. Grayson has been out for a year with a serious injury that has to be taken into consideration when rating his performance today.Barnes looked very good
  22. He expects us to make loads of signings on one hand on the other hand we are in deep trouble and need to make 10-20 Million in savings through sales and cutting the wage budget
  23. You sound like a broken record. As has been said the manager has had enough money to sort out centre half ,left back and the goalkeeper situation in the last 3 years but he decided to spend the money he was given on Brereton, Gallagher and a raft of midfield players. How are we being prepped for only loans? The manager has been open and said he doesn't have enough money left in the budget to cover all the areas we need covering so we will have to use the loan market. You have a point on how long it takes us to do deals ,it is frustrating and if someone commits to owning a football club then they should be high up in their priorities.I will say though that this summer tho the club have been right in waiting it out and trying to get the best deals they can. Would you have preferred if the club panicked and brought in say Naby Sarr (a player who got relegated last season and looks like he will be involved in another relegation battle with his new club) instead of waiting it out and bringing in Ayala who is a much better player? Imo this summer the loan route is the correct way to go with the rest of our signings when we don't have enough money to bring in the standard required at the level we want to be at on permanent deals. I also disagree with you totally that the fact fans are looking unlikely to be able to return to stadiums this season shouldn't affect our budget.Nearly every other club in the division has funded their transfers this window by selling players but yet here we are the manager in 3 year hasn't had to sell a single player he wanted to keep. So far this summer you have stated quite confidently that we wouldn't sign a goalkeeper for a fee,we did.We wouldn't bring anyone decent in at centre half and the Kipre bid was an elaborate plan to fool us stupid fans.Only 2 week ago you put down the fact Evans was out stating your belief that he was on the verge of joining Stoke despite the fact absolutely nothing strange with Evans being out he has been out with some sort of fitness issue in the majority of his time here. The left back situation needs sorting out and we need another couple of signings but it does not matter if these players are loans if they are a higher standard of player that we can afford at this present time in my opinion.Last week you said all you cared about was promotion nothing else so no point signing permanent deals if we know they ain't the standard required.Might as well have kept Smallwood, Samuel etc if we are just going to bring in sub standard players on permanents, the money isn't there no tricks by anyone the manager has said as much.
  24. We have hardly any money to spend though, another midfielder would be nice but what sort of player are we going to be able to bring in if our budget is as small as the club are letting on.I just don't see the point of bringing in another midfield player If he isn't better than what we already have. Sub goalkeeper and first team left back should be where our money is spent
  25. Mowbray said he was a long term target
