  1. We’ve been battered and just can’t keep the ball. Woodwork, last minute blocks and poor finishing have saved us. So far. Dack could have nicked it but it would have been smash and grab.
  2. Not sure if you are watching but it has been dreadful tonight. We are playing like strangers.
  3. If Raya wasn’t good at shot stopping he’d be an estate agent.
  4. Reed on. After the flea in his ear from Saturday he probably won’t pass the halfway line!
  5. He wasn’t part of our promotion squad.
  6. Sat in plastic seats watching the game. Rothwell must be another one of those players not playing ‘the Rovers way’. Not sure why Bennett is out. Mowbray seems to prefer Smallwood and Evans to start games.
  7. We are very soft in midfield.
  8. Conway straight down the tunnel. Injured?
  9. It’s all a bit backs to the wall at the minute!
  10. It’s nice to converse with people who are capable of civilised interaction.
  11. I stand corrected. I guess it comes down to how much of his upper body the linesman deemed offside. From a free kick though Dack shouldn’t be giving the linesman a decision really but it looks like he has been robbed there.
  12. Not seen it. The angle I saw it looked as though Dack’s arm was the part of his body offside. His feet looked in line.
  13. The red button gives these midweek games a massively different dimension this season. Hope we can capitalise on Lampard’s absence.
  14. Stop being negative. Mowbray called over first Reed and the Dack (who seemed quite puzzled by the instruction) immediately after outcry goal and we dropped deeper punting the ball up to Graham and Brereton. It was a panic move and brought Villa back into the game. Rovers should not have lost yesterday.
  15. Well done @Bigdoggsteel ?????? Mission accomplished.
  16. F**k knows? We scored with 14 minutes left and there were 5 minutes added. We changed our shape immediately after scoring and sat back playing on the break. It didn’t work. Of course an equaliser was coming - and it came. The BRFCS knives are clearly out tonight though for anyone not happy with a draw.
  17. I knew it was me you were having a pop at. For some reason it’s not allowed for people (me) to criticise Mowbray “because of all he has done”. “He is his own worst enemy” is what I said. Unless you are being obtuse I honestly don’t know why you think he is above criticism. You talk about a “disappointing goal” but fail to notice that it was coming because we invited pressure. Pressure that Mowbray brought on himself by asking attack minded players to drop deep and defend a lead for 20 minutes.
  18. Are you going to learn his name at some point? I thought it was a typo when you started doing it but it seems to have stuck.
  19. We have an embarrassment of riches in the attacking positions but lack quality in defensive positions. Yet we also don’t have natural width. Wing backs if strikers played out wide. Brereton needs to be Graham’s apprentice (with them swapping minutes as the season goes on) or not at all. Not looking like £6m well spent... yet. Lenihan had a bit of a stinker today. Smallwood was full of endeavour but just isn’t good enough for this level. Reed impressed and I thought was unlucky both with his yellow and with the Grealish dive at the end. Mowbray doesn’t care about form and sticks with his favoured few, tinkering when he feels necessary - with mixed results.
  20. The free kick one? Honestly not sure. Looked just off according to the Sky pictures. I often wonder why teams don’t step out on free kicks and play everyone off side.
  21. Shame to lose those two points today though. Instead of 13th we’d have been 8th. As it is we have some tough fixtures coming up. It’s going to be a difficult month.
  22. Doesn’t change the point but thanks. Out of interest, what’s the capacity of the DE upper tier. Get the away fans out of the way upstairs.
