None of them will say exactly what the deal is, what the actual figure is or how it breaks down. If your absolute confidence is due to what you have heard from some talking heads then you really don’t know anything at all so you can’t poo-pooh other’s opinions.

Well, we’ll start with scouting and see where we go from there. Not sur me you are ready to negotiate with any agents. If you are struggling to pdf it, let me know and I’ll message you my fax number.

Lol. “Your football club” You have said that you know what is in the contract every time someone has questioned it. Well let’s see it. Or maybe start to be a little less cocksure and maybe put in the odd “IMO” - particularly about Brereton’s contract. I wish you were involved with Rovers, it’s be a scream. What would you prefer, marketing or recruitment?
-
Hmmm. What to believe, logic, common sense, and years of experience in football and in contracting? Or what Chaddy has read on the interweb and the LT? It’s a thinker alright. ?
-
You seem to think you have this one nailed down because you’ve read a few tweets. Can you post a copy of the pre-contract agreement. Send it to me by PM if you prefer.

Lol. Are Forest’s board new to football? I’d have given you promotion as a clause but not that! Dont remember too many players looking as goosed as him after half an hour.

Criminal that Bowyer didn’t get that side into the play-offs. An embarrassment of riches that meant Alan Judge couldn’t even be squeezed in and King was hardly picked. It’ll be a bit different this time out I expect. -
Bradley, I’d like you to meet David... https://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/david-bentley-one-one-when-i-made-my-england-debut-i-thought-isnt-what-its-cracked-be?_format=amp A year after leaving Blackburn, Bentley retired from football aged 29

I thought Brereton lookedthe best I’ve seen him yesterday. Although his cameos have been limited and disappointing. Worryingly he looked to be blowing out of his backside at the end. He only played for just over 30 minutes! I’m hoping that Mowbray is playing a blinder and there is something in the pre-contract that affects the buying price! He doesn’t look like a £6m-£7m player.

25% of our normal crowd didn’t turn up for the biggest game of the season. Nah. More like what Matty said, a slip of the tongue or ill-informed plod spokesman.

Rovers v Leeds, Ewood, 12.00 KO, 20th October

no had that one on the turntable for a while. Spin it DJ Gav! -
If they are included in the attendance they’ve already paid. ST holders sacking off a match to watch a crappy single-camera view no better than live? A couple of hundred for various personal reasons, yes, but 3,000? Doesn’t add up.
-
But against Leeds at noon on a Saturday? 3,000?
-
Nearly 3,000 fans were recorded as attending but didn’t? WTF?
-
Amazing if true that club’s don’t own the intellectual property for games hosted / televised in their home ground. Money has to go to the home team. Has to. Otherwise this is just another way to give more and more income to the big city clubs and push the town clubs under. The EFL and FA are despicable organisations whose purpose in life should be to protect the interests of their member - equally - and are instead only looking our for their own interests. Otherwise the very idea of open and fair competition - the thing the FA supposedly hold most dear - is dead.
-
If the red button is here to stay then the clubs’ response is simple. DO make attending games an affordable, enjoyable experience. It will win hands down. Get people hooked and into the habit. DO NOT lick your wounds and put up ticket prices for the dwindling faithful. You will kill the experience and lose more fans. And the experience is the only selling point over TV.
-
Even worse if the clubs aren’t getting any extra money from the red button...
-
The Sky red button satisfies a gap for away games at unsociable times. The irony is that those unsociable times have been caused by Sky (and now BT) moving games to unsociable times to circumvent the 3pm rule. Maybe it was ITV that started it but at least when Elton Welsby and The Big Match did it all those years ago it was only on a Sunday lunchtime.

How could you possibly know this?
-
You can’t be that invested in your questions then.

This is why tackling is such an art, a skill even. It only takes a slight misjudgment and you can go over the top of the ball and it’s into someone’s shin or knee. Find it hard to believe that any professional player would go all out to end another player’s career. Maybe Roy Keane is the potential exception that springs to mind. That was a malicious tackle if ever I saw one. Yet he is lauded as one of the greatest players of the modern era...

Go down to a Trust meeting, Chris, people there will be more than happy to discuss your simple questions.
