That was as awful a performance as the last two games just without the points. Despite the partisan BS being spouted by the two Rovers employees on commentary, we are very much now just going through the motions: manager, players and more and more of the fans.

If only they cared about Rovers even half as much as you do.

We really do need to turn recent results (in spite of beyond dire performances) into a sustained run of results. It’s been dreadful viewing but if we keep getting the points then it’s all that matters.

Can’t believe what I’m reading in this thread. Venkys still are in moral debt to the fans. They have never apologised for these so-called mistakes but that doesn’t matter when all’s said and done. When the take us back to the PL and keep us there for one season they will be even. It’s that simple. While they continue to back the people who are preventing us getting there (and trying to convince everyone what a small club we are) they continue to “make mistakes”.

It really isn’t. It isn’t worth £10 as a 90 minute pay per view offering. The only reason I pay it’s Rovers. No way would I use it to watch any other clubs. The pre-game is embarrassing. Much of the build up is lost to sporadic adverts - sometimes in the middle of the commentary. During the last game there should from the ads were playing over footage of the highlights. Which are usually without any sound whatsoever. There is a large anti piracy box which appears on the pitch. The camera work isn’t far off what you would see down at Leyland. Despite some of the banal comments, the efforts by Neil and Warren are often the best part. As a product it is distinctly amateurish and not serious coverage of a football match. I put up with it because it’s the only way to watch Rovers.

Yep, he will shoot on sight, most times badly but will score the odd one and they all add up. We have this debate perennially, if he wasn’t on the pitch others would be chipping in. It’s arguable that we are only nicking games because he doesn’t bring others into goal scoring opportunities. He’s too one-eyed and someone offered us £10m now, while his share price is unrealistically high, I’d bite their hand off.

Mowbray will probably be in the running for Manager of the Month but the football has never been as dull. Let’s hope we have turned a corner and we start to take points over performances but we shouldn’t get too vitriolic just yet. Another three points stolen from the jaws of a mind-numbing draw. Not at all. He is hugely overrated due to his goals. He is a poor man’s Jordan Rhodes but with pace. We will hold onto him too long and his fee will drop - or even go on a free.
