  1. Billionaires selling off the Crown Jewels of Jack Walker’s legacy in the best interests of the club. No, I’m struggling with that one.
  2. This is the thing. When you lose to teams you should be beating then you have to pull off a few unlikely wins too. As the saying goes, anyone can beat anyone in this division. Except when it’s Rovers it seems...
  3. Come on, play fair. I said last chance. He has absolutely thrown away money that we don’t have on players that are not paying back the investment.
  4. There aren’t many players Mowbray has got the best out of. And those he has seem to have gone off the boil. Just Armstrong who plays every minute of every game and has a role which suits him. Everyone else seems to have to take turns to keep a squad happy. I put it down to poor man-management and not liking unhappy players around. The first team isn’t run as a meritocracy. It’s run as a nursery club for loanees and rotating a series of midfielders in and out because there is no money and no strategy, and no style of play or ethos we are trying to achieve. The next manager who comes in has a lot of work to do just to get the right players in. An experienced, connected and shrewd Championship manager will be able to do that relatively cheaply. I just hope Mowbray hasn’t pissed away our last chance. With the training ground part of the owner’s exit strategy.
  5. Warren Lucy: you could call that brilliant goalkeeping but... he doesn’t play for Rovers so I don’t want to.
  6. Anyone know where Nyambe gets his hamstring ointment from? He could make a fortune.
  7. Any chance Mowbray could just walk at half time?
  8. Can’t believe the stick these commentators give Rothwell yet big up a very very poor Dack at every opportunity.
  9. The lack of bounce on a heavy pitch made the striker favourite there.
  10. The whole Nyambe thing is a farce. Apart from that I quite like the balance of this team. I’m going for a Facebook-fan-favourite, all-is-forgiven win this evening.
  11. It only unravels if the Cat 1 status is important...
  12. What if this has come to light too early and the Raos didn’t know anything about this exploratory phase? It could have been pre-pitch? They may now all be waiting for the fall out from Pune...
  13. I don’t think he’s like Kean (at leasti hope not!) but I think some of the things he says are Keanesque to say the least.
  14. The more I think about it, the more that ‘no’ embarrasses Mowbray. What a childish way to end an interview. Been here for years and that’s all he has to say? Maybe he felt he had already answered the question with us having the most touches in the box. Something surely any manager would be proud of. Well not manager, St*ve Ke@n. Another way of looking at could be the most touches required in the box per goal scored. All about the marketing I suppose.
  15. The guy is really starting to grate now. Maybe it’s deliberate. Didn’t Bowyer once stick two fingers up at the BBE after a result? Those who the gods intend to destroy they first make mad.
  16. What is it about players called Ryan having their injuries overstated? He’ll be in traction next. 😉
  17. Fair play. First time I’ve seen 40,000 mentioned. Seems ridiculous that over 30,000 doesn’t count as a large stadium.
  18. Dack especially. If we got £15m for Arma I’d be surprised - if we did we should bite their hands off. But right now Dack looks more like what we bought him for! Mind you some idiots valued Gallagher and Brereton as a £12m combo so who knows. Maybe we could sell them to Pune FC and loan them back?
  19. Right now we only have 2500 Season Pass holders and zero Season Ticket holders.
  20. Do you have a link?
