You don’t get a refund, you get that money knocked off if you purchase a season ticket for 2021/22 - with the price for that yet to be decided. If you believe Steve “Jam Tomorra” Waggott, of course.

Newcastle United away in the League Cup

Not sure I’d blame him but conceding four goals from the first 5 shots he has faced isn’t a great start. -
Not being able to guarantee that my family can sit with my friend’s family takes away the main reason I go to matches. There is now only one reason to renew. To keep your ST seat in 2021/22 - and ignoring another large price hike next season. (Waggott seems to think that a £400 ST represents a “saving of over £300” so prices will increase again for sure). So it’s the blackmail of not being able to keep my seat that I need to have a think about and I don’t take well to blackmail. I’m now leaning strongly towards not renewing for the first time. A very sad day. I can’t think of any football fans who have had to put up with as much as Rovers fans have over the last 10 years and yet be treated with such utter contempt by the board. Sadly, I also expect that there will be so little uptake that we will easily be able to allow in all ST within the restrictions so iFollow will also be turned off. Breaks my heart to be typing on here while the cup match is on TV and I just feel numb watching it. Thanks Waggott, your legacy will be a much hollower club than the one you joined.

I was just about to say. What a bloody cheek! Or is there a setting somewhere? -
Well. Where to start? Pitting our love of the club vs endorsing the current CEO to continue to fleece the most ardent fans. An unreasonable price increase. Someone said to pay players wages and even transfers. Do me a favour! Ticket sales will NEVER pay for the players in this division thanks to the irreparable damage done by successive charlatans. (Who have all done well out of the club individually of course). The complicated myriad of rules and regulations and now a code of conduct. I’ve not read it yet, is this “Don’t ask for refunds”? Or just “Don’t cheer when we score”? Either way they are taking the fun out of it. And to top it off they have even removed two linked STs from my e-ticketing account so I will have to go through the switchboard to have the pleasure of being taken the piss out of if I do renew. The big issue in my view is the size of the price hike. It’s just not reasonable in the current circumstances. Waggott needs to go, Venkys need to go, Mowbray needs to go - but yeah here’s a load of hoops to jump through to give us your money and suck it up. This may well be the end of my ST days and with Waggott in charge of walk-on prices it’ll be even more expensive to cherry pick. I’ve never hated anyone more than Kean. Until now.

Warnock has been there 5 minutes. Mowbray has had 5 windows.

It would be good to know how Waggott is personally contributing to these unique challenges. Every ST holder has been forced to pay for something they didn’t receive. The current update is that ST prices for this season will be increased as well so that die hard fans can dig even deeper. Will he be taking a pay cut for the coming season as a show of solidarity with fans? Even something nominal? Perhaps he could pay for a ST for his own seat in the new corporate only area of the ground?

Yes, Blackburn. ??♂️

Real shame for the lads that have played today. They definitely deserved a draw - particularly in the second half. Until we sort out the glaring problem of the last three years though nothing will change. We cannot keep having to score three every game to get points. Anyone who blames Dolan is excusing Mowbray’s failure. We need players like him in the same way Sven knew how important Rooney was to England. He needs more opportunities and not sidelining. Today was against a PL team with an incredible combined squad value and we faced up to them man for man. I’ll reserve judgment on the new faces - including Kaminski who conceded three from five shots on target - for a little while yet. Meanwhile the clock is ticking for Mowbray to fix our defence...

Dolan is looking like the signing of the season!

Real shame that

Don’t worry. If we hang onto a draw Waggott will have it on sale in the club shop.
-
Get in 2!!
-
I’m not Bell hater but he just absolutely wasted that cross after some brilliant work by Dolan.

“Goal-saving save” Aren't they all?
-
Get in!!

Utterly ridiculous that the referee is warning the Rovers captain because of fouls when Bournemouth players are diving all over the place. Expect lots of yellows to follow and Travis to get a red. Fuck off referee!
-
Bloody hell. First shot faced by Kaminski results in a goal. That won’t do his confidence much good!

New drinking game: a shot every time Neil says “Brereton just beaten in the air”

These Bournemouth lads like the smell of that turf.

On a positive note... it’s great to see us wearing our proper blue.
