Switch Pickering to centre back and bring in a pacy left wing back?

Seems about right to me but I’d be surprised if we bring in even half of that number.

Do you think he could play there in a back four?

I guess the number of players needed depends on what the club’s ambitions are.

I just think words like sensational are over the top.

The problem with someone always being positive (about Rovers) is they’ll nearly always turn out to be wrong as well.

I’d have more time for him if he cut out the hyperbole. The ‘group’ hasn’t been sensational since he came in (see today’s interview) He knows that, they know that, and we know that. By all means ‘big up’ your players if you feel you must but please do so with some sense of realism.

TM got them 10 points from 6 games so I don’t think he was one of their problems.

Well he’ll have to improve then… You’re probably right that he’ll want to move on but I’d prefer him to want to stay and fight for a place in the team.

We need strength beyond the starting eleven so I’d keep him.
