  1. I think that was pre O’Riordan so only 4 more to go…
  2. Clearly some of them don’t (them!) If the owner’s can’t send funds the amount we are allowed to lose (under FFP) decreases. 🤦‍♂️
  3. Given it took me 5 minutes to find the contradiction I wonder how long it will take our beloved LT journalists. 🧐🤔🤨
  4. Even if the judge does approve things in March, what about any contractual obligations we have between now and then?
  5. I reckon the person who wrote the statement and (at least some of) the LT brigade are one and the same person.
  6. The above is from the minutes to November’s fan forum meeting - this confirms further court approval is needed to cover the remainder of our financial year. (ends 30th June) The below is an extract from today’s statement - seems contradictory to me but maybe I’m just too suspicious… ‘The club can confirm that the adjournment of this week’s scheduled High Court hearing in Delhi will not impact the day-to-day funding of the club in any way.’
  7. At least it will only take 2 days for them to be proven wrong. I wonder when (if ever) a club has been bought with the purchasers taking on all of the existing debt.
  8. The statement says there will be funds to last to the end of the season - it does not say we currently have those funds. Neither can they be certain these will be received because the whole reason for the statement is the postponement of this week’s court case.
  9. As I alluded to earlier, the certainty to which they say further funds will be received is disingenuous at the least.
  10. The statement mentions the investigation being into ‘one of their overseas companies’ I thought the investigation was into the parent company. Unless I’m wrong (entirely possible!) this feels like wording designed to distance the owner’s from any blame.
  11. I think that statement is aimed at our creditors as much as it is to us fans.
  12. Is it? They’ve confirmed they have the £11 million from the previous court case. They’ve then mentioned further funds will be received in due course - surely this will be dependent on the outcome of the adjourned case?
  13. Before and after…
  14. The police seem to be offering a lot of advice… ‘Furthermore, on Police advice, fans who are travelling to Ewood Park via the M65 should come off at Junction 3 if travelling by car and use Junction 4 if travelling by coach, and follow signs to the stadium.’
  15. Village People - Go West
  16. We could just make it an actual swear jar - although Abbey and Upside Down might disagree 😁
  17. Surely the first clue will be when Arsenal confirm they’ve signed him permanently? Still more likely to be the summer given the presumed reason (FFP) for the initial loan.
  18. This is paid in annual instalments over the course of the contract.
  19. At least he can’t help but know who owns Wrexham… ‘Harvey remained at Leeds United for nine years before stepping down as chief executive officer on 1 July 2013.[5] It remains unknown who he resigned to as he testified in court he didn’t know who owned Leeds United’
  20. Peacock was a free transfer wasn’t he? (Still overpriced mind 😄)
  21. Szmodics up front? (I’m not disagreeing, I’m just checking)
