  1. No, it obviously should work both ways. But there’s a difference between someone saying they think a player is a good/bad signing and them writing a player off/thinking they’re the next messiah before a ball has been kicked.
  2. Just to add to my previous post. This means it took Venkys three weeks from being given permission to send the £4.85 million to actually doing so. I’m starting to suspect we’re not a priority…
  3. You don’t but you can learn from your mistakes. ie. if you’ve previously written off players before they’ve played for the club and then they do ok maybe don’t then go and write off further players in the same way.
  4. One of the conditions of Venkys being able to send money over is an Affidavit (regarding the use of the funds) must be filed with the court within one working day of the funds being remitted. An affidavit was filed on the 16th June…
  5. As of 31st March ‘24 we had £3,237,414 of future fee payment liabilities contingent on promotion to the PL. I wouldn’t put it past our lot to see avoiding having to pay this sum as a positive.
  6. I wonder if there is an option even though they’ve not said so. My reasoning - the Rover’s site says: 1. An initial three years 2 Until at least 2028.
  7. Ah the answer a different question to the one you were asked approach - nice.
  8. Sounds perfect… https://burgundywave.com/2024/02/23/the-curious-case-of-the-sidnei-tavares-loan/
  9. I’d suggest Captain Marvel but we don’t play two up front.
  10. The Premier League have said there being no Boxing Day games is due to their commitment to give players more time between matches during the festive period - but they added that games can be moved to Boxing Day for TV. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
  11. I think round one is regionalised (north and south) Plus I don’t think PL clubs are in round one either. Other than that 😁
  12. So club B offers him a higher salary than club A, what then?
  13. I just don’t get how that stops interference. Club A bids £700,000 whilst club B is only willing to pay the compensation fee. He talks to both clubs (as is his right) and if he chooses B they just pay the compensation figure.
  14. A club could sign him and pay much less under the EPPP compensation scheme. This sets a fixed fee based on time spent at (and the category of) an academy. His fee under this would be around £40,000-£60,000 (not sure how part years count). Why a club would pay far more than they have to for him 🤷‍♂️
