We’re going to have far fewer ‘home grown’ players this season (compared to last). As 7 need naming in a match day squad I think there’s going to be games where we’ll end up with a fairly inexperienced bench to meet this requirement. I don’t think we should be letting any more senior ones (eg Hyam) leave unless their replacement counts as home grown too.

I think Toth is the far likelier of the two to be eligible for conversion in January. edited to add: Having ‘crunched the numbers’ I think Kargbo being eligible is more realistic than my instinct thought.

No reason is given in the filing list. Every previous application has either been to ask to send monies or to try and change the conditions for doing so. There’s no longer a need to go to court just to be able to send funds as the Directorate of Enforcement are ‘happy’ to issue No Objection Certificates subject to the previously imposed conditions being adhered to. Therefore my guess, and it is just that, is they’re trying again to have the guarantee requirement removed.
