  1. Wiki says he scored two own goals vs Cardiff last year. At least he wasn’t sent off too.
  2. Not even if he displaced Tronstad? 😁😁
  3. and, according to SW, has no impact on the running of the club. edit - Rev beat me to it!!
  4. Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
  5. If there isn’t a recall clause a player can still be recalled (during a transfer window) if both of the clubs and the player agree to it. The only additional caveat is this can’t happen in the first 28 days of the loan. Could this be what you’re getting mixed up with?
  6. The only rules regarding recall clauses are they’re only allowed in season long loans and the recall can only take place during the winter transfer window. I presume, but don’t know, a notice period could be included in a loan agreement if both clubs agreed to it.
  7. They didn’t need to give permission for him to play in the FA cup.
  8. 72 hours still seems an awfully long time.
  9. I could never understand a word Kenny said - I wouldn’t have changed him for anyone else.
  10. My thoughts too. I wonder what their justification is for having the three working days deadline.

  17. If he was on a 12 month rolling contract it would always have 12 months left on it - until notice was served.
  18. Thank you so much for this - I’ll have a proper read of the links a bit later on. Re the bit I’ve emboldened - I’ve had a quick look at the scope referred to and I think the answer is: Domestic moves are covered by the individual association’s regulations rather than FIFA’s compensation rules. So, in the case of an English domestic move , compensation is payable (in accordance with ‘our’ rules) Ditto for solidarity payments. In short (as I understand it) domestic move = domestic rules, international move = FIFA rules.
  19. I didn’t know that, thanks 👍
