I feel the same way and it’s because he was so phenomenal for us and always gave his all. Watching him suffer through 2 years of ACL injuries and then still come back and make the number of goal contributions he made this season, just shows how driven he is a person and how he never stopped trying to do his best for this club. Really sad to see him go, but I think it’s the right time for him to move on and start fresh. Now that Sunderland is definitely staying down here next season, I would be shocked if we didn’t see a Dack / TM reunion.

Best team we could put out. I would have liked to have seen Dack have a go from the start. He's never very effective coming off the bench for 10 minutes, but he's still the best finisher at the club.

Can't see beyond us winning this game but still missing out due to a Sunderland win, followed by Sunderland beating Boro in the playoff final, securing a promotion for Mowbray and this board going into meltdown for 3 months debating whether it was the right decision to sack Tony.

I like Hedges, but he does have a tendency to make the wrong decision more often than not. Similar to Rothwell when he was here tbh - makes stuff happen but often fails to finish off the move. Need to give Dack at least 30 minutes here.

Feel really sorry for all of the Rovers fans at the ground that have to stomach this. Just absolutely brutal... crucial decisions not gone our way in this past month. The fact that it was a handball by Barnes that wasn't given makes it especially frustrating.
