Nothing is 100% with any transfer but I trust my source better than some of the rumours on here. I reckon it is 90% happening. They definitely want Buckley out due to his wages, plus he is well down the pecking order atm.

According to a source at the club they have suspended Travis for refusing to play. Unsure if I believe that or if it is a way of trying to turn us against Travis for wanting away.

Yes to 30kpw like I suggested the other night... Travis is probably on around 15 to 20kpw at Rovers. We don't pay anyone more than 20kpw and never will do with Pasha and Ruddy in charge. We should have had Adam Wharton as captain for a season getting us into the Prem and selling for 50m to reinvest for a whole new squad... instead we have yellow stickers 50p buys from relegated sides around Europe.

Have it from a good source that it was 4.5m and not 5m!

Emiliano Martínez was on loan at Reading last year and could be a good loan signing if we wanted one.

Cairney is not a 20m player due to that fact that no one has paid that for him and thus until he is sold again he is only worth what Fulham paid for him. Yes we messed up but if he is sold I am sure we will have a sell on clause so we should want them to do well as the fee we then received increases substantially. Raya is going and the better he does the more money we get. Not many of the players we have sold in the last 15 years have gone on to do that much better.

Raya Fee is 3m that can rise to 5m with add ons. I think if we were talking about the full 5m then a lot of us would sell. Could come to regret it though.

Am I right in thinking that he it was being suggested as wanting 30k a week due to being on a free transfer? We need to see who we sign instead and then decide if we have missed out on a decent player. Personally I think we can get better than a League 1 CB

Personally we could sort out our problems if we played 3 at the back then you could have Bell and Bennett as wing backs and they don't need to do as much defending. They both have the energy for that role. You could have Lenihan Mulgrew Hanley as back but I still worry about Mulgrew and if he would just cause havoc in that. TM has tried a few time in pre season to play 3 at the back and I think it is what he would like to do long term. The other issue is we would need a lot more cover for 3 CB and therefore don't think we will do that.

I think a position that needs strengthening is RB and have someone who can teach the position to Nyambe better. I like him when I see him but he needs to improve a lot of areas of his game! RB would also allow to play Bennett further up the pitch with the energy he has.
