  1. We're playing Watford, not Man City.
  2. I think that the game will have to be re-arranged before refunds are given out. It will be interesting if it is re-arranged for mid-week, will the price drop to £25 ?
  3. I think we are going to need three in midfield, rather than three up front. So I would play Morton/Mola, and bench Dolan.
  4. These are the type of games that will show us were we are this season. I prefer us playing against the so called better teams. I am looking forward to a Rovers win.
  5. It is the complete opposit of what Mowbray would do. He would have set up a team to counter the oppositions strengths, rather than exploit their weaknesses. I don't really wish to bore everyone to sleep, with a game of, You said, I said. So let's call a halt to this discussion.
  6. Are some posters still going to give Mowbray a warm welcome back to Ewood ?
  7. If it got goals, then yes I would. I would expect the players you mentioned, to score from wherever they started in the forward line. But if the opposition has a weak area, I would exploit it by putting my best equiped player, against that weakness.
  8. And yet, after the same number of games, Watford are only one point better off than us. To stop their midfield having a field day, we should play a trio rather than a pairing.
  9. Most managers would play their best forwards against the oppositions weakest defender.
  10. If current form was to be taken into account, I would start, Hedges, Diaz and Hirst up front. Morton, Travis and Adam Wharton in midfield. Carter, Hyam and Scott Wharton at the back. Mola left wing-back, Britten right wing-back.
  11. Totally wrong about advance tickets for short journeys. But the debate was not just about Rovers fans. But about any clubs fans who would lose money because of games being postponed. We will have an easy win against Watford, 2-0. It could have been four.
  12. I suppose he just got out of the habit.
  13. I don't know, because I am talking about fans from other clubs . They might have made plans for a Saturday in the south of England and they they may suddenly need to plan for a Tuesday or a Wednesday night.
  14. It is fairly simple, for any fan whoever they support, if they have bought a ticket on the train , or booked a hotel, they will not get their money back, because the service is still available.
  15. I think we will win. I won't be going. I can't get home on public transport from night games.
  16. I am not sure, so I am going to drink some more, then I will at least know, I have had too much.
  17. Please take into consideration I have been drinking heavily, but if we are talking nostalgia : I once new a lad called Aladin, Who had a magic lamp, He bought it from a matlot, who was fathams up a tramp. He bought it from a matlot, to see what he could get. He rubbed and he rubbed and he rubbed and he rubbed and he ain't got fuck all yet.
  18. I hate to swear, but what the fuck does that mean ?
  19. I will get sod all back for my train ticket. But as I said I bet there are fans of other clubs who have paid for hotels, they will not get their money back. I will stand by my original statement. The footballing authorities don't give a shit about the fans. I don't get this sign of respect for the countries loss. The Royal family have very little to do with football, except the odd high publicity attendance at major occasions.
  20. They call off games when other associations don't, and I presume they haven't thought about fans already booking, transport and hotels. We are lucky in that fans that have paid for transport will not be too out of pocket, because Wigan is only a short trip. Others won't be so lucky.
  21. The EFL really don't give a shit about fans.
  22. I had nothing better to do tonight, so I remeniced about stuffing Watford at Ewood in the early seventies. I then thought about a song I had to learn at junior school a few years earlier, "Puff The Magic Dragon", both brought a tear to my eye, when I looked them up on youtube.
  23. I think after the bad decision to call off tomorrows games, when every other sport is going ahead. The mid-week games will go ahead, but next Saturdays games will be postponed
