This season, we have about the same number of season ticket sales as last season. But some of last seasons ticket holders may not have renewed. Therefore the numbers have to be made up from somewhere else. I suggest that the shortfall is probably made up from people who bought walk-on tickets last season and have bought season tickets for this season. PS. I took the 2000 figure in the original post, from another posters quote. It may or may not be acurate.

The way I see it is. We have about the same amount of season ticket sales as last year, but we are down 2000 season ticket holders from last year. Those 2000 will probably have been made up of people who would have bought walk-on tickets. So to get the same crowds as last year, the 2000 hole in the walk-ons will have to be filled. This could be done with the people who have not renewed this season, but I doubt all 2000 will. There is very little initiative to get new supporters down to Ewood, or even some of the lapsed ones.

I received an E-Mail yesterday, from the EFL fans club. They are seemingly trying to get a £25 max, cap introduced for away supporters.

Thats why the spine should be in pairs.
