Surely Villa are governed by the premier league, and we are governed by the EFL. Personnally I would have let him go.

Has Nyambe travelled to Namibia ? If not how could their manager confirm the injury ?

Safe Standing - Your Thoughts
rigger replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I never said it was. What I suggested was, that it was an area that would produce the least amount of hassle for people who did not want to be in a standing area. -
They did better in the Euros than expected, but were still poor. The Germans and French did worse than us in the Euros. The second half bodes well for England, The first half was poor

So that's how we had 9500 home fans against West Brom.

On tonights performance, you think Hungary are a good side ?

The thing is it could well be true !

£100 million +, and that is the finishing you get !

Shit to watch, just as bad to listen to the commentary

Given another 12 months he may well be struggling to hold on to an U23s center-half position. The only person he will be in front of is Van Hecke, when he returns to Brighton.
-
I would say Annesley is sixth in line for a center-half position. Ayala, Lenihan,Carter, Wharton, Phillips, I would put ahead of him. I do not know the reason why he did not get a loan, perhaps he didn't want one.
-
I thought they were both center-halfs. They may well play together in the U23s, it depends on who the manager picks. But I would say Phillips will be playing first team, Annesley won't.
-
Yes I have. In my opinion there is no way he is playing for our first team. His position in the U23s is likely to be contested and taken by Ash Phillips. He could then be shunted around to different positions, where he has even less chance of making the first team

At the end of August last season, were you as confident with Kaminski as you are now ? Did you think Armstrong would score 28 goals ? My answers would be no. If your answers are no, then just let this season unravel and see what transpires.
-
I am no expert, but Annesley, to me, does not look like a player that will make the Rovers first team. I hope I am wrong.
-
I am not going to argue. I was asked why I thought we will finish higher than last season. I gave my reasons, you may not agree with them, only time will tell who is right.

Summer transfer window 2021.

And we have been super tight with 4-3-3 -
For me last season was particularly bad because we played a system that did not suit our players. I would not say our squad is weaker than at this stage last season. Personally I think it is stronger. Kaminski, was an untried gamble, he is now a proven capeable keeper. We are stronger at left back. Centerback and right-back are much the same. The cover for midfield is stronger this season. Up front if played in their correct positions, with the correct system we have ample players. People keep saying we have not replaced Armstongs 28 goals. At this time last season Armstong was not a 28 goal a season player. These are my reasons for my belief that we will finish higher than last season. The flies in the ointment are the management team.

I also think we will finish higher than last season.

Personally I would play two strikers down the middle. I would team up Gallagher and Burns, with Brereton and McBride as back-up -

So is the fact that they are chicken farmers. The only relevent point is that they own the Rovers. What I think BDS was trying to say was they may be chicken farmers, but very successful ones. -

Surely it is the EFL who would have to be charged, as they made the ruling. -

At the start of last season Armstrong was not a 28 goal striker. Fair play to him over the season he became one. Let's judge the players once they have played. Personnally I would not have bothered with any of the loans, but now that we have, I hope we can get the best out of them. I know our permanant youngsters might be miffed, but it is up to them to prove they are the better option. -

They haven't in the past, but maybe they will in the future. Nobody knows. My opinion is, if you stop leaking goals, you don't have to score as many to be successful
