The thing is it would have been a simple stratagy. You are 2-0 and a man down to a better side. Any normal manager would go to 4-4-1. Bring on Carter to make up the four at the back. Move Buckley to his preferred midfield role to make up the midfield four. then decide which one of the remaining forwards will be sacrificed (for me it would have been Dolan) . It would probably have ended in a defeat, but not a humiliation.
