  1. Like we did at Stoke where we ended up even luckier to get a win. Team shape and tactics are a balancing act.
  2. I thought Bennet got half way from back to front with good possession, then lacked the pace and the application to take on his defender, so invariably turned back or inside to lay the ball off. The amount of times, all the players, turned in-field with the ball then lost it, to put us under pressure was criminal .
  3. But that is what being a Rovers fan is all about, even to the point of how we won the premier league, remember Anfield.
  4. I am not saying it is a fact, but just the impression I got.
  5. I got the impression last night that no one wanted to pass to Brereton, he made loads of runs pointing to where he wanted the ball, only to see it end up with someone else.
  6. That was for me the first game this season when we have looked lethargic all over the park, and I include Bristol city away. I found it strange the amount of times, when he came on that Brereton made a run, pointed to where he wanted the ball, only to see it passed somewhere else. I thought eventually he got frustrated and gave up making the runs. It was almost as if the other players where deliberately not passing to him. Anyway onwards and upwards, roll on Saturday.
  7. With a bit of luck not scoring was his past, and his future in blue and white, is loads of goals.
  8. where is a good place to park up coming from the M61?
  9. You just have to get your head round the fact that TM doesn't like setting a team up with wingers. As he picks the team, it is his prerogative. Don't expect wingers anytime soon, our pressing midfield game does not allow for them.
  10. Because the manager does not like playing with out and out wingers as we do not have the threat that would benefit from their crosses.
  11. A walk-on, safe standing area, £20 no concessions. For me in the Blackburn End.
  12. A poor penalty decision, onwards and upwards bring on Sheff Utd.
  13. disappointed with the result, happy with the performance
  14. But if it came with the caveat than the team was being picked on merit, because of good results I would be more than happy.
  15. Nottingham famous for Robin Hood, then having a population of more women than men, then Brian Clough, then …… tumbleweed
  16. Lets keep all the teams thinking we are only Dack. He certainly adds to the team but he is not our only danger
  17. The walk to and from burnden park, from the station was always a nervy time.
  18. In my opinion it is hard to keep up the high intensity game that we play for the full game. The only way is by substitutions but this sometimes breaks up the rhythm of the team.
  19. As long as it's not for us.
  20. This is not a criticism but in fact Dack and Bennet threw their shirts into the crowd, whereas Graham climbed over the perimeter and gave his shirt to an individual. To me that shows the class of the man.
  21. It was the fact that he went out of his way to give the shirt to an individual fan. I thought that showed particular class. That is a trait not always attributed to football players. It illustrated the bond between our players and fans.
  22. I thought Danny Graham showed his class, when after the game he climbed over the wall to give his shirt personally to a fan.
  23. I think they where booing the decision of who to bring off
  24. Actual they did for a while, I was driving as well so it didn't matter.
