  1. Greaves would thrive in any era but modern teams would slaughter teams from the 60's.
  2. Both teams wildly unpredictable. Will be watching the FA Cup tie tonight and hoping for an old fashioned bruiser, extra time and Derby to lose after 20 penalties so they get thoroughly chilled waiting for them all to be taken..
  3. Two points from two home games and improbably we creep a point closer to 6th. This cannot continue with 6th remaining in touch through others losing- makes Derby a monster fixture.
  4. Mowbray not up to it
  5. Two minutes for Swansea to grab the winner
  6. Blow me over with a feather, we equalised!
  7. We are on a Mowbray special run of rubbish results again.
  8. Down to 9th. Wigan winning at West Brom. Looks like I have jinxed another game by starting the thread..
  9. Ref evening things up like last week. Who takes it with DG on the pitch?
  10. More likely to go 1-3 than 2-2
  11. Damn. Cannot keep it tight with this defence.
  12. YESS Gallagher finally at home
  13. This is the formation I am expecting. Approximately going in the same direction but missing the goal.
  14. Don't think this will be a draw. Toss of a coin whether we smash them or they smash us.
  15. Nothing like a 0-0 against Stoke to kill interest in Rovers. Thread has limped onto page 4 on the morning of the game. %age chance Mowbray gets the selection and tactics in replacing Lenihan wrong 90 %age chance we have entered a Mowbray run of terrible results 50
  16. Ok I will kind another one by starting a thread. Rovers will not beat Swansea at Ewood. Off you go.. PS. Better get to the game in person as i doubt the next game at Ewood will be played in front of spectators because of the virus.
  17. So Luton Charlton Wigan Stoke Birmingham at home weren't under achievements with wrong selections tactics and substitutions? Add Fulham at home and Huddersfield away.
  18. Add Juve to potential victims.
  19. Quite simply, not good enough.
  20. I would have recognised Johnson is going through a tired patch and played Buckley for his superior passing ability. Arma wide right to use his pace, Downing left, Samuel centre for his ball control and Rothwell in the Dack slot for his unpredictability and told go show what he can do. Gallagher on the bench and subs used earlier if it were still goalless. And I would have beaten Stoke.
  21. I think he will play Gallagher at centre back alongside Tosin.
  22. This squad is easily good enough to make the play-offs. But not good enough to make the play-offs handicapped by dropping at least ten points because of the Manager's mistakes.. If we were good enough to do that, we'd also be good enough to go up automatically and the squad isn't that good.
  23. Sadly another two points dropped in the Manager's dug out.
