https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2019/02/15/upshot/british-irish-dialect-quiz.html Despite leaving Darwen in 1974 and living in Hull, Leeds then in and around London and now subject to Menglish, the quiz pinned me to an area between Darwen in the south and Lancaster in the north.

I saw Bell on the scoresheet and thought we had resurrected Norman!
-
They were on a good run unbeaten in 5 and that draw at Sunderland last night confirming they were in play off contention.
-
The sort of game the Manager really earns his corn to get the right picks playing the right way against desperate opposition.
-
Probably needed against Reading but certainly not against Boro.

Following Bristol City's comeback win over QPR last night, no excuse for not going for a win in every remaining fixture this season. For Reading, this is also close to a must win match. I would make Reading favourites tonight- far more riding on this game for them than for us.

Between Banks and Lev Yashin for the greatest keeper ever.

Very few players anywhere moved in January. I understand decisions were made to invest but Rovers weren't going to be legged over to use the vernacular.

Could easily lose or draw. Reading drawn a few recently. Will need to play with more conviction to secure the win.

Nobody got a cold in East Lancs this Winter?

Never saw him play as he had already been sold but very saddened by this news.

It is the scum that comes with Kean that I never ever want to see back anywhere near our club. I think that if we put a bag over our head with regard to everything from 2010 to appointment of Mowbray and only look at the time since Mowbray arrived, Venky's are now much better than average owners and the only reason why we are beginning to think of a return to the Premier League (with a chance of staying up if we get there). My other unpopular opinion- I would rather play the dingles in the Premier League than in any other division.

Utterly frustrating. Bristol City are nothing special despite their run and the fact they can win 8 on the bounce shows this league is there for the taking this season. That game offers us fans another what might have been. This squad is not as good as the best squad Bowyer had available and Rovers were more ordinary than the visitors yesterday. I thought a few looked less than 100% fit but the reality is we have too many players who blow hot and cold are not quite adaptable enough when circumstances change game to game or within a game. Williams did better than normal - all credit for getting where he did for our two best chances, no credit for what he did when he got there. It was sensible to have him on the pitch given the lack of central defense back-up. In retrospect probably would have been better to start with Rothwell and bring the unfit Dack on as an impact sub. I really thought Travis was getting a second yellow- he had to be subbed off but again made far too many silly mistakes. Smallwood was solid but unimaginative which is a comment applicable to most of the team. No idea what went wrong for their goal but it was the epitome of winning ugly. But we still miss the snarling brute of a Mr Motivator out there. I think this lot would respond to having someone like that on the pitch and we wouldn't get so many variable individual performances.

Pretty 50-50 for me as to who wins this 1-0

Crazy- after a few games of good service today. On the Mac it refuses to play because I have an ad-blocker On the mobile it refuses to play because it says I am in a location without rights No difference to either set up from last week! Switched to Safari on the Mac and it works OK.

BIG BIG BIG Game in the context of this season at least. In the context of club history if we win it and go on to promotion via the play-offs. Writing in hope rather than expectation...

I am having kittens over what sort of injury-ravaged side will appear tomorrow but having Magliore on the bench or even playing does not scare me half as much as the prospect of seeing Williams starting

Rovers ?

Ah yes, I remember that Guingcamp is famous for something.. The club's stadium (Roudourou: 18,120 seats) has a higher capacity than Guingamp's total population (7,235). This 20 year old is in their reserves.

Before the Brentford capitulation, Boro were the team people were suggesting most vulnerable to us getting into 6th. The club are doing a promo for it and the fans are reacting with unbridled enthusiasm and desire to get behind the lads in big numbers to cheer the Rovers on to the play-offs..

Assuming he is fit (which goes for most of the squad after last Saturday's ref), this is Dack v Dack's erstwhile cover. Dack had better show he is the real article because if Palmer outshines him we are in real trouble in this fixture. City coming to Ewood on a run of six league wins so we need to repay a few compliments after the 4-1 at Ashton Gate and our run being ended 5-2. Happily just take the win. Bristol are not frightening like Hull were on their run but this makes them a harder proposition. Hull have players whom if you stop supply to you stop Hull (funny how Brentford did that in reverse to us). Bristol City are strong all round so the eleven Rovers players whoever emerges from the treatment room are going to have to win their individual battles against their Bristol opposite numbers.
